A quick trip to Berlin for this month's bonus video. This is one those scenarios that I've always steered clear of because you see about a million icons when you load it up. But when you focus it down, you can ignore a lot of them outright, some are obvious fire support assets that don't need to move around that much and if you're the Soviets your smallest unit is really the platoon so you can divide what's left by three.

So actually a pretty good scenario. 90% straight up urban warfare, 10% "Oh God, why did I do that?". Fun times.

OK, DePuy consider the smallest combined arms formation to be battalion. He believes that managing combined arms teams as captain tend to be too difficult due to the lack of staff system. He thinks companies are the smallest units capable of surviving a stand up fight. According to his time in Vietnam as soon as NVA or Main Force units show up the US troops would start concentrating up to company strength as opposed to squad to platoon patrols they use against VCs.

Finally getting around to watching this. The technical term is "cope cage," isn't it?
