Hi Everyone!

With spooky season fast approaching, I'd like to introducing my new Subscriber Exclusive MMMini Zombie Frog!!It's been a while since I've made a zombie design, and thought it would be fun to try one as a MMMini! The frog felt like the perfect candidate. I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of icky details I was able fit into such a small critter, haha. I hope you like it!!

This mini is 100% print-in-place, and requires no supports.  Its a quick and easy print that scales down very well.  I've included both regular and keychain versions.

Check out a little preview video HERE.

I hope you like it!Matt

Pictured Prints use the following filaments***(reference the numbered prints in last image of the gallery)

(1) Ziro Camouflage, Inland Bone White, ProtoPasta Amethyst Aria, iSANMATE GITD(2) Ziro Dreamy Dusk, Ziro Wood Grain, Ziro Matcha, Bambu Solar Breeze(3) iSANMATE Blue/Green, Ziro Silky Silver, Paramount Iron Red, Ziro Translucent Yellow(4) Inland Bone White

3D Print information:

MMMini Zombie Frog:  Includes regular and keychain versions. Print-in-Place.

Multicolor 3MF files: For PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, and Orca based slicers. Generally, when using Orca-based slicers for non-bambu printers, you will want to use File > Import rather than “Open Project”.  Then just set the filament slot colors and enter the recommended print settings listed here.

Magnets: These models contain cavities for placing magnets during printing. Please see the included instructions PDF. (I used these magnets)

No supports

10% Infill (I recommend Gyroid, Crosshatch or 3D Honeycomb)

3 Walls. (Assuming 0.4mm nozzle. Adjust wall count to account for alternate nozzle sizes)

This should generally scale down to about 50% with full articulation, on a well calibrated printer.  Your mileage may vary.*To Download: Click Here to go to the Pinned "the Hub - Info and Current Download Links" post***Paid Links.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

How long does it take to print on a P1S & X2D

As always Spot On !

Gary Kasl

Going on next! Did you have magnets in yours?

Gary Kasl

Is there a pause and spot for that? Love how they stuck in the video

matmire_makes

There is a pdf guide in the download that tells you how to add a pause. Where the pause is will vary by print settings, so you should set it yourself.

Gary Kasl

Awesome, thanks!

Scott Rogers

I printed out 6 of them and put magnets in them and OMG they're awesome.

Everything ok? I haven't seen any posts since the 7th?

Justin

These are so cool, I hope you do other minis in the zombie edition!

Staci Arpin

Anyone scale one up yet?

Szilard Simon

They're so cool, we printed a few with glow in the dark in the back, turned out awesome 🔥🔥

Szilard Simon

Yes, not a huge amount but it printed without any problem, and used 4 colors I've put a few brims just for safety measures as it took 6 hours plus overnight

The Glorious Geeks

Sooooo Mat...... What size magnet will fit in a 500% blown up frog :-P

Pen S

no support but my Elegoo slicer said the object has floating regions. Please re-orient the object or enable support. what do i do?

matmire_makes

Slicers are generally way over-cautious about any slightly challenging overhangs or long bridging. You can ignore that warning. All of my files are tested to print without supports, and shouldn't need them unless specifically recommended. Only one of my files need them (one of my Jack-o'-lantern variants).

I have these on the printer now and I can't wait to see them finished! Too bad it will take 27 hours (even on a Snapmaker) for a full plate. Still excited, though!! I used Bambu's Plum for the guts and it's going to look awesome!
