The colossal water trident moved far faster than something of that size should have.

Atlas expected the trident to hurt, to even make him stumble a bit.

He didn't expect it to literally take and launch him off his feet, to more than a mile away. And then once Atlas slammed and broke through several hills within the Labyrinth's bottom floor, the trident exploded with all it's water upon the titan.

All that water of course rebounded, and was coming back toward the group of questers. Percy parted the oncoming seawater around them with a wave of his arm.

"I thought you couldn't use weapons because of Ares' curse?" Annabeth asked.

"He can suck it! Water is my weapon." Percy grinned.

On Olympus at the section of the council room relegated to the Olympians to watch the quest, there was a small quiet pause as the Olympians stopped watching their demigods, and goddess facing Atlas.

Poseidon was looking at his nephew, Ares, with a raised eyebrow.

Ares huffed. He couldn't dare cursed Percy's ability to use water or ability to fight. Not beyond what he already did on his sword, Riptide. He might be a war hungry brute, but he wasn't suicidal as to challenge his uncle, one of the Big Three, and right to his face.

"It doesn't count anyways." Ares huffed, crossed his arms and looked away. There was a pause in the fighting anyways, so it wasn't interesting to watch. "The curse probably ran out by now." He justified to himself, know that its not, and that it would only run out once the battle was finished.

Poseidon chuckles, not bothering to comment on that and looked back to the battle. He couldn't wait to see more of how his son's legend would unfold.

"Time to get this show on the road!" Percy said and dashed forward. The water surged under his command, as he jumped on it, and surfed at much greater speed than running, at the titan.

"Not without me you're not!" Thalia flew after him.

"Pasiphaë, can you still offer support?" Artemis asked, as she and her Hunters got ready to head in.

Everyone conveniently ignored Bianca crying on Asterios' shoulders, asking him not to die, and him consoling her for the fourth time.

"Not as much as I originally planned. My son did something quite foolish." The sorceress queen said in an actual harsh tone, making Asterios wince and look a bit guilty. "So I need to focus on guiding his recovery, as quick as it's coming. I will provide aid when I can."

There was no argument, there was no disagreement, or disgruntlement from the goddess. Artemis had expected this, when the bull monster decided to face a titan alone.

Still, it was admirable effort, and Atlas does seem injured from attacks not of Thalia's. That is praiseworthy.

Without a word, Artemis nodded, and headed off with Zoe and Annabeth with her.

Percy surfed forth on the seawater. He felt an odd rush. As if he could move faster.

He started to run on the water as if it was ground, and the water answered. He rushed forward, crossing the distance in seconds.

He jumped, feeling the air, feeling the moisture within it. Percy's arc would have led straight to Atlas.

The titan with a shout had stood up, knocking the water around him with a shockwaves of his arms swinging, and his foot stomping the ground. His bones seemed visibly broken, and quickly resetting themselves.

The titan was panting, as if the act of speeding up his recovering was exhausting, but his second wind and recovery was returning insanely fast. It was the reason why he could begin to react to Percy, swinging his fist at the descending demigod.

Percy willed the water to come to him, and it instantly responded.

Seawater seemed to form first from his feet, before connecting to the greater amount in the surroundings.

Percy swirled around Atlas' form and punch, to arrive behind him. And throw all that momentum into his punch.

Atlas grunted, then stopped and blinked. The punch hurt, yes, but given the sheer beat down he was enduring thus far, he expected it to actually hurt much, much more. Atlas was disappointed.

Then the titan grinned in glee.

"Weak." He said and kicked behind him at Percy.

Percy easily ducked and let the water slide him back, then he lunged forward at Atlas' open guard. He looked at the ichor covering the titan. He looked at the water around him. Percy remembered what Asterios said about heart pumping as vibration for earthquakes. He remembered how sending vibrations through water felt.

So Percy pulled on that feeling, on that feeling a tingle pass along his skin as a ripple, like a goosebump. He punched down at the titan's face, a loud bang following the hit's contact, as a rippling wave along Atlas's cheek.

From being on one foot from his kick, Atlas lost his balance. He couldn't bear hug and crush Percy in time when he got close. Atlas fell back, quickly turning the fall into a roll and jumped into standing, to rush the demigod.

Only to stop and lift his head back to avoid two arrows from different directions, going for his eyes. Then Atlas was slammed back by a bear shoulder checking him.

Artemis transformed back into her human form, and... spanned her fingers into fists and held her arms up, taking a boxer's stance.

"Percy Jackson." She began. "You need to stabilize your footing, but you also need to put your back into it."

"Err, yeah. I know that one?" Percy said, not wanting to be disrespectful, but not seeing the point. He was told that advise before, but he rarely practiced or fought hand-to-hand. He was always more of a sword guy. Most campers used weapons after all.

"Just watch and learn." Artemis sighed. The oddest thing to Percy was her tone. She wasn't even being sarcastic or haughty. The goddess genuinely sounded like she was teaching him.

"Oh please." Atlas said dismissively as he stood straight, towering over Artemis. "You're a hunting goddess, not a war goddess. You're no warrior."

"Living in the wilderness means needing to know how to fight." Artemis said. Atlas didn't care to hear her out and rushed her, swinging for her face. Unlike the titan or the demigods expected, Artemis didn't dodge by turning into an animal. Rather she bent her knees a bit, and weaved between the blows.

"What!?" Atlas said in shock, not relenting in his assault, only growing more angry the more he missed.

"You know how to box?!" Percy cried out, wide-eyed.

"My brother invented boxing. I learned a thing or two about it." She said ducking under swing where Atlas overreached. "And one of my Names is Kondyleatis."

Artemis launched an uppercut.

Atlas was punched in the chin with such force his feet left the ground. His skull rang out like a gong.

Artemis heard Apollo in her head, cheering loudly. Olympus was watching with great interest it seemed.

They have way too much time on their hands. The Goddess of the Hunt rolled her eyes, and ignored her brother and the other gods.

It was time to lay down the punishment on the titan before her.

Her fist lashed out like a whip, even cracking the air, as decked Atlas' stomach. Her blow folded the titan around her arm.

Atlas mouth was open in a silent scream, but he didn't even get time to struggle taking in air, as Artemis stepped back, only to lunge forward and kneed Atlas in the chin.

Atlas flailed, trying to hit the goddess while he fell back. Artemis turned into a snake, slithered around Atlas transformed back into herself, swept the titan's feet from under him.

As Atlas was weightless in the air Artemis appeared with a jump above the titan, and threw a hammer struck Atlas in the face, burying him into the ground.

"Artemis, jump away!" The flying Thalia cried out. Artemis did so, seeing the daughter of Zeus flying with some large boulders floating around her, with static and electricity zapping in the air.

One boulder floated in front of Thalia. Lightning seemed to ripple like a wave around the boulder. Then as in a flash, two beams of lightning solidified on either side of the rock, like train tracks. There was a whining of energy charging up in the air.

Then boulder blasted forward, leaving a sonic boom behind.

Atlas shouted in pain, as the boulder slammed into his downed form. The boulder released an explosion of electricity on impact. Stone, iron and mist that made up that debris of the Labyrinth hit the titan ten times faster than the speed of sound, and filled like a battery with divine lightning, like a holy hand grenade.

Thalia loaded another boulder, even larger, and charged it.

She fired her magic railgun over and over and over again.

Once she was out of boulders, she took a moment to breathe. Smoke covered the ground where Atlas was.

"Is it over?" Percy asked, not getting off his water waves.

Spears of stone erupted from the smoke cloud, at Percy, Artemis and Thalia.

"WOAH!" Percy dodged, surfing away and readied himself to gather water and hit Atlas again.

Artemis turned into a gazelle and jumped away easily.

Thalia found too many of the stone spears aimed at her and had to dodge by flying down.

"I HAVE HAD IT!" Atlas shouted. He dug his hands into the ground, his Titanic Energies acting upon his will, transforming pieces of rock he dug up into sharpened spears for him to use. "I am done being used as a punching bag by you all. I will tear you apart. Rip you limb from limb. They will write tales about the suffering I will put you through."

"Do you ever stop to think that you've made a lot of threats, that you didn't manage to make any of them come true?" Percy commented.

Atlas threw a stone spear at him, forced Percy to shout and dodge.

Thalia stomped the ground, using a magnetic field to rip a piece of rock from the floor, polarize it, and fire it as a railgun bullet.

Only this time, Atlas stomped his feet as well, so hard the ground shook around him, and a wall was formed by his Titanic Will to protect him. It shattered upon meeting Thalia's attack, but it took the brunt of it.

Artemis engaged, turning into a lion, jumping on Atlas' back and biting into him. Atlas grabbed her head and tried to throw her forward, away from him. Tried but failed as Artemis transformed back into her normal form, throwing punch after punch at the titan.

Atlas stopped bothering to dodge, just tanking the hits and focusing more stabbing the goddess.

Thalia felt worried. Her instinct as a demigod that always flared up in danger, or when a situation was turning for the worse. Right now it felt like they were losing the pace they had.

Percy launched another wave of water. Atlas threw a stone spear with such force, it actually blew up the wave. Only it was a distraction to empty the titan's hands, as Percy appeared from Atlas' side, and threw a haymaker.

Atlas caught the punch, a visible shockwave hitting him more fiercely. The titan cough out loud, as some of his scarring wounds opened up again.

"That's it," Atlas said, grasping Percy's fist in his hand, not letting go. "You need to die first." The titan growled, blood leaking from his lips.

Thalia's eyes widened, before they glowed with electricity and murder. She wasn't losing anyone else.

A Few Moments Before

"Why are you getting in close to Atlas, when you can hit him afar with a railgun or something?" Annabeth had gestured for Thalia to come to her, before she jumped right back into the fight.

"A what?" Thalia blinked.

"Railgun. It's a device that uses electromagnetic force to launch projectiles, through the use of the Lorentz Force by—" Annabeth began to explain.

"No, no, no, no. There is literally no time for that. Summarize it or forget it. Twenty words max." Thalia said.

Annabeth pouted but nodded.

"Magnet power through two electricity rails, connection between them, and a stone in the middle to fire at Mach 10." Annabeth said drily.

Thalia narrowed her eyes, then repeated the words Annabeth said under her breath.

"...Holy shit, did you literally use twenty words?" Thalia said with a laugh of disbelief.

"Yes, since you can use your powers for a lot more it seems, like magnetic force, then you should be able to do more." Annabeth nodded.

"Maybe also try emulating lightning while fighting, since you're thinking of creative applications." Asterios voice sounded next to them.

Thalia and Annabeth blinked and look around. Asterios was still far back with Bianca and Pasiphaë.

"Asterios, did you make some kinda of Tiny Minotaur we can't see?" Thalia asked.

"Or an Invisible Minotaur!" Annabeth whispered in fascination. "I bet it's purple."

Thalia scrunched her eyebrows at Annabeth, tilting her head in confusion at her little sister-figure's words.

"No. I can hear things in the Labyrinth if I focus on them, and mother can project my voice where I ask with her illusionary abilities." He explained. "Annabeth stopped your charge, so I was worried if there was a problem I missed." Asterios said.

Annabeth beamed at the indirect compliment. Wow, she barely did anything and praise was already coming her way. Getting drunk on god madness was the best thing that ever happened to her.

"What do you mean emulate lightning?" Thalia said with focus.

"Well, I'm not gonna get into the detail of the speed of lightning or the return stroke." Asterios began.

"150,000 to 160,000 meters per second for the leader stroke. 100,000,000 to 300,000,000 meters per second for the return stroke." Annabeth said casually, with a relaxed lazy smile.

"Right, that. So basically before lightning hits something, let's say the normal thing, the ground. Due to building a negative charge in the clouds as that charge comes down, it causes an electric field that pulls positive charge to rise up from the ground. When the two connect you have lightning. Point is, that positive charge, the positive streamers appear first before lightning strikes. So, act as lightning. Make your enemy the positive charge, and rather than hit them with lightning, you as the lighting..."

An arrow stabbed through Atlas' wrist. He cried out in pain, letting go of Poseidon's son, who jumped back. The titan saw it was his own daughter that fired that arrow. How did he not notice it? That should be impossible with his senses and combat experiences.

Atlas then felt the usual static of lightning, and blinked in disbelief. Weren't they demigods all over caring and overly sentimental about their comrades? Sure the girl of Zeus wouldn't throw lightning with her friend so nearby—

"THUNDER PUNCH REVAMPED!" Rather than lightning, Thalia was there covered in lightning.

BAM!

Atlas felt like something with a force of a god hit him. Like Artemis previously did, but with much, much greater force, from much greater speed. He literally skipped across the ground like a stone, before the seawater slammed into him, drowning him.

"You owe me one, Kelp Head." Thalia said, sparking with electricity all over. She felt shock followed by sheer unadulterated pride from her father, and couldn't help but grin at the feeling.

"Did you forget when we just arrived to save your ass?" Percy quirked an amused eyebrow.

"Ah, right, we're even then." She nodded. "But mine was cooler." Thalia smirked.

"Wow. Fast running and fast memory, huh." Percy remarked with a snort.

"Than what are you? Wavy moving and noodle punches?" Thalia fired back.

"Hey, I made him cough blood." Percy said.

"So? I actually hurt—" Thalia said back.

"Demigods!" Artemis appeared behind him, making them jump startled. "Please focus." She advised.

Right then Atlas broke out of the water prison, roaring and screaming, sounding less like the dignified Titan General he appeared thus far, and more like a bestial animal.

"Do you think us kicking his ass so much pissed him off to the point of losing his marbles?" Percy jokingly asked.

"A little. Thalia, can you do that attack again?" Artemis said back, before looking at her half-sister.

"Yeah." Thalia nodded.

"Water conducts electricity, right?" Percy asked.

"You think we should combo it? Water then lightning?" Thalia said.

"I mean, if that does a lot of damage, what happens if we combine?" Percy said back.

The two demigods grinned at one another and without another words dashed forward. Artemis shook her head in merriment and smiled, before following her demigod relatives.

Atlas swung at Percy who came at him first. Only for his fist to go through Percy like he wasn't there, and for the demigod's body to disappear like a mirage.

Percy passed by Atlas on his water wave, while slamming another beam of water in Atlas' face. Instantly Thalia was there, slamming her foot in the titan's head.

A cloud formed above and lightning fell on Atlas as water grabbed his limbs.

While in the throes of pain, Artemis appeared stabbing her knives into Atlas' elbows and under his shoulders. He tried to kick her while screaming, but the goddess had already dashed away.

Arrows now flew freely as Zoe sent a showering of them at her father, while some would prick him at vulnerable spots, like eyes, nose holes, groin, curtsey of Annabeth.

A concentrated beam of water hit Atlas' shoulder, were Artemis' knife was, trying to dig into that wound further. Percy had watched videos on water cutters for a school project once.

He wasn't sure if he succeeded as the pressurized water didn't pierce through Atlas' flesh. The titan broke one arm free to cover his shoulder, tanking the water beam on his forearm covered in gold chains.

Yet it was all a distraction as water swirled around the titan, while wind spun from the heaven downward.

The two forces, sea and air met in the middle with the titan trapped between them.

Then once the water tornado formed, lightning fell it merged with the water tornado.

A roar, a shout louder than anything the questers heard echoed from the electric water cyclone. Screams of pain so visceral that it made those who heard it flinch and grimace at it. It echoed so loudly that the ground started shaking.

As one, Thalia and Percy closed their arms, and their elements obeyed, as the divine wrathful hurricane collapsed on Atlas, slamming the titan with all that force for a final hurrah.

The ground broke from the explosion as cracks formed along the floor from the impact point.

The air was wet with static and humidity. Sheer heat from the demigods of Zeus and Poseidon's powerful impact.

The air was sizzling with the smell of burned flesh.

As the titan appeared from the smoke of the impact center, smoking with heat, his body looked cooked. More wounds layered upon him, while pieces of flesh peeled back and eaten from the heat. His skin as a whole looked red like a boiled and burned lobster.

Atlas took a step forward...

And the golden chain along his leg broke down to pieces.

The questers eyes widened in shock and worry.

Atlas took another step, and the chains on his other leg also broke to pieces.

It seemed the titan managed to direct all that force toward his chains, even if he was still hurt and took the brunt of it.

Asterios held his hand up, and the other chains tightened around his waist and forearms, not falling or loosening. The others seemed to have lost their powers once they shattered.

The titan was still contained, but he could use more of his well of power toward himself, as slowly he began to heal even from the damage he just endured.

Yet his aura seem magnified. Oppressive upon the demigod, as if they were one step closer to fighting a divine being in their true form, when they should have been already.

"Kill... you... kill you all—"

A chain of shadow flew from behind Atlas, from his own shadow, wrapping around his own neck. Then a house-size ball of hellfire fell upon the titan, starting his screams again.

"ATLAS!" Bianca shouted, as she joined the fray. "YOU'LL PAY FOR HURTING MY BULL HUSBANDO!"

===

AN: Yeah. Atlas will not get some cool/threatening comeback moment. This is a beat down all the way.

Also countdown to Annabeth W: 2

Annabeth is giggling.

Rereading this masterpiece I just got the reference to the purple minotaur lmao The only thing missing is Asterios shouting "WAAAAAGH!!"
