Hi, many wishes for the new office. As you just mentioned Ubuntu, I'd really appreciate if you spend more words about how setup C++ "stuffs" on Linux nowadays. I have some C++ VS2019 projects and I'd like to make them compatible for Linux too. It's my first time with C++/Linux and I struggle with all the different possibility I can chose. For example: -Opt1: Write code directly on a Ubuntu machine (in this case whith IDE to use, I used codelite a lot time ago). And how esaly import an existing VS project? Cmake/premake works the same like on Win10? -Opt2: (Connect to Remote System) Still code on Win10 and use VS2019 to target another Ubuntu machine just for compile the projects. These are just my first thoughts but any others are welkome. Thanks.

Hi, Cherno. i will going to the game industry as a ue4 client developer this year. My job is more about gameplay programming but i prefer the graphics and engine. People said engine programmer is better than the gameplay programmer, so what's your opinion when you worked in EA. What's the difference between the campus recruitment and the social recruitment as a game developer. Any suggestions about career route planning. Thanks.

Guess I'm famous now. :) I can't wait until you find a groove for streaming.

Be careful with the "once a week" plan. When I don't plan exactly when I'm gonna do something, I usually postpone it until I can't anymore. It's easier to fall into this when you don't know precisely when you're going to do something. Also, really looking forward to seeing videos shot outside again. Keep it up!

I appreciate the way you open a header and explain what type of parameters are required for the function calls. It helps give me a deeper understanding of working with Visual Studio. Thanks

I'm glad to see video cameras "are still useful"; you see, I'm not into photography/audiovisual, but I'm sick and tired to hear everywhere 'hey, you can make professional videos just with your smartphone'. Yeah, right, and people are still buying video cameras and/or photography cameras (some of them are really, really expensive, you know that even better than me) because they are dumb, right?.
