I inspire you to ask your wife to give you a haircut! :D

Things are crazy here in Houston for a lot of us. Not just the virus but also the oil prices (I’m a mechanical engineer for an oil and gas company). Trying to survive one more year in mechanical engineering before switching full time to software engineering.

Hi Cherno I am from Taiwan. Taiwan is doing anything we can to slow down the spread. In my opinion it is doing quite well so far. However, with more people coming back more cases have shown. Hope every thing is doing well in Australia and you are doing well as well. Stay positive, stay healthy!

Here in Atlanta, GA (USA), things aren't too bad yet. I've been working from home for a week already and things are going okay-ish. I have some unique challenges in that I live alone with my 2 cats, have a physical disability that means I walk with crutches, so I am reliant on grocery delivery services. It's scary but I am lucky to have a good support network of friends and co-workers willing to go shopping for me or whatever if it comes to it. I work for a smaller game studio in Atlanta, and they're taking pretty good care of us, thankfully. I'm still getting work done (I'm a Producer in Publishing) while working on some side projects building tools for the dev teams in hopes that I can transition to full tools programmer this year. I am completely self-taught, so learning to work on projects with teammates/other people's code has been a unique challenge for me. Thanks for all the great content you do. I have legitimately learned more from you in the past 4-5 months than I did an entire year of self-study.

Italy here, things seems like are starting to get a little better, next few days are going to be crucial to understand were we're heading to. Personally, I haven't been affected by this too much, none of the people I know had contracted the virus for now, and since I was working from home even before the lockdown my habits haven't changed much. Looking forward to your live streams, stay safe!

We're in lockdown but am enjoying learning C++ from your YouTube videos. Thanks for your work.

Hi, I am from Slovakia. We are also in lockdown. People finaly calmed down and stopped panic buying things. Me and my wife are in "preventive" house quarantine because we flew in a week and a half ago from Switzerland / Germany. Luckily we are OK and didn't contract the virus. I am not complaining regarding the house quarantine. We're finally home and together for more than one week :-) Stay healthy and safe!

I retired from practicing medicine, and am now a software developer. This virus thing is a HUGE problem for the world, and will teach the scientifically illiterate about the true meaning the term "exponential growth."
