This song has always been special (been a swiftie since I was 13 and I’m turning 32 this year), but since I’ve had my two daughters the lyrics hit even harder, especially the one about us having children and her wanting them to shine 🥺 My girls LOVE Taylor too and it makes me so emotional that I “chose” this amazing new artist waaaay back in my teenage years and she happened to become THE Taylor Swift who now 20 years later has the same impact on my daughters as she had on me growing up 🥺 Full circle moment 🫶🏼

I'm not crying, you're crying! What always gets me is thinking about how she wrote this song back around 2010, not knowing the course her career would take. And now, seeing her sing this song again more than 15 years later, on the biggest tour of her life, it's just mind-blowing. The only thing I missed was hearing this sung in baby Tay's voice, but I'm sure you'll hear it eventually, especially if you watch the whole Speak Now Tour, which I really hope you do.
