Happy Birthday Yoongi! Reacting to Agust D Mixtape for the First Time (Patreon)

Today we’re celebrating Min Yoongi’s birthday the best way we know how… by diving into his legendary Agust D mixtape together.

Released in 2016 as a completely free project on SoundCloud, Agust D showed a different side of Yoongi. Raw, personal, and deeply rooted in hip hop, this mixtape gave him the freedom to speak openly about ambition, criticism, mental health, and the realities of chasing a dream. It’s one of the most honest and powerful projects to come out of the BTS universe.

In this reaction, Alanna and I sit down with ARMY to experience the mixtape and celebrate Yoongi’s artistry, storytelling, and influence as a rapper, producer, and songwriter.

Happy Birthday Yoongi. Thank you for the music, the honesty, and the inspiration.
