Between the Pages - BTS - Beyond the Story Chapter 1: Seoul (Patreon)

ARMY and Cronicans, welcome back to Between the Pages.

Today we did something really special together. I just finished reading Chapter 1, “Seoul,” from BTS: Beyond The Story, and honestly… what a way to begin this journey. This chapter really takes us back to the very start of Bangtan’s story. The city, the struggles, the dreams, and those early moments where everything that would eventually become BTS was just beginning to take shape.

But we didn’t just read the chapter today.

During this read-along we had three Between the Pages moments where we paused the story and jumped into some surprise reactions together. We watched three different dance practices that connect to the early era of BTS, and it was amazing to see those performances while reading about the beginnings behind them. It felt like the pages were coming alive right in front of us.

Those moments are scattered throughout the video, so make sure you watch all the way through because you never know when one of those reactions pops up.

And there’s another reason today felt extra meaningful.

Today is SUGA’s birthday.

So what better way to celebrate than by going back to the very beginning and reading about his early path, the hardships, the ambition, and the spark that eventually helped shape BTS into what they are today. From underground rapper to global icon, and this chapter gives us the first glimpse into that journey.
