Firstly, thanks to all the DMs, comments, and messages about v14 that you all have sent! I may not have replied to all of them, but I want you to know that I have read them and I appreciate your words very much. Thank you guys for taking the time to play this silly game :')

Hey all! if you didn't catch the dev commentary stream last week (which I totally should of put a post on here for that, I apologize... But we have a vod of it uploaded here !)

We announced that 14.5! An update that we are hoping to release late december (or january!)

Let's go over the more important updates:

v14.5 is a smaller update. There will be no main story progression. Instead there will be three new quests, revamps to some older areas, and more!

Going forward, we are abandoning the old style of releasing versions. Instead, we are switching over to Patch Cycles. If you are unfamiliar with Patch Cycles, it's basically how live service games operate. We won't be releasing the entire version at once, but instead releasing them in chunks. v15's scope is pretty big. For MANY reasons. This is a way we can keep ourselves, and the playerbase sane. It also means more frequent releases! We hope to have this first release late next year!

v15 Paragon is being treated as the post game. Many legendaries will be available, but the Pokedex will not be able to be completed just yet. The more top tier legendaries will be available in v16+.

As for the three (technically 4) quests... Let's talk about their requirements.

Upon further investigation you discover that Evergreen Forest is holding a secret... Availability: Paragon: Yes, Renegade: NoQuest # 2: Merging Communities (Fun fact, this was always a planned quest but it never got done till now!)Description: "East Gearen's restoration process is nearly complete! Now, in an attempt to begin re-unifying Aevium, city officials are hosting an event at the Neo High Rise! Important figures from each island shall be in attendance! There's just one problem... The Artrica attendee is... Well, he is a bit on the strange side... Will this event go as Jan and Adrienn plan?"Location: East Gearen City (Neo)Prerequisites: Fly. Quest #3 and 4: The Heart of a Man, The Devile Wears Furfrou*Description: "Shady things have been happening in East Gearen City... and they all converge at the center of one, pristine, glamorous, OPULENT, estate. And no, it has nothing to do with the Blakeorys, oh no... She has them in the palm of her hands. Some say the Devile wears prada, but this one wears Furfrou. "Location: East Gearen CityPart 1 Prerequisites: Chapter 3 completed.Part 2 Prerequisites: Part 1 Completed, Paragon Path Chosen.Availability:Part 1: Paragon: Yes, Renegade: YesPart 2: Paragon: Yes, Renegade: No

*Note: this quest is a two part quest. The first part chronologically takes place over the course of the game, ending after Saki's battle. The second part starts and ends in Karma Files. A grace period for 14.5 only will be set in place. There are some smaller quests, but they are done within like 5-10 minutes, if that. So I won't go into them here.

Why 14.5?

Well, there were some loose ends that I wanted to finish up before i jumped right into v15. This includes quests, revamps, and polish that I never got around to. There's even one more revamp to one are that i might not get to. It will just have to wait until much, much later.

I also wanted to practice the new Patch Cycle workflow. I gave myself a SET deadline, and a SET scope. I have stretch goals, but I can only work on them if I finished everything else.

I have to have it all done by [designated date]. I wanted to see if I could pull it off. However, I am not going to kill myself either. if I need more time, I will always take it.

Anything else?

Yes! Currently, we are working on a new feature that i think will make people very happy... Especially completionists. But it's still very bare bones, so I won't go into it right now. Expect some more info on that in the next post! Which won't happen for like 2 weeks because I am going on a vacation finally. But I am also stressing out because of my deadline!!! gahh. it never ends. but that's future me's problem.
