Alt Shift X is going full-time! (Patreon)

We reached a major funding goal today – thanks to your support, Alt Shift X is going full-time. This means that, starting in mid-December, videos will be released much more frequently – I'm aiming for 2-3 videos per month – and I'll be able to really focus on developing and improving the channel in every way possible (:

Over the last couple of months, I haven't been able to produce as much content as I'd like, basically for two reasons – 1) it takes time to learn new software and hardware, so the benefits of extra funding don't immediately translate into more videos, and 2) I've been really bloody busy. Unfortunately, I'm going to remain really bloody busy through November and early December, so I'll probably only manage one video during that time. But by mid-December, I'll finally have some big commitments out of the way, and will get to really focus on producing lots of awesome videos for you (:For the next video, I'm thinking maybe "Jojen paste" while we're still in the north. I'll also post part of an old unfinished video on Maester Aemon – I can finish that one instead, if you're keen. Come December, I'll get to work on some bigger projects – I've got plans for a video on Cersei, as well as the much-requested Varys/Illyrio/Aegon conspiracy. There'll also be more quick explanations as well as detailed analyses – maybe some stuff on the death of Balon Greyjoy, Frey pies, Tysha, and other little-known but fascinating tidbits. We can hold more votes in future to decide on topics. I'd also like to try some more non-ASOIAF content – any fans of Rick and Morty here? Also it'd be fun to do a quick summary of the Star Wars original trilogy before The Force Awakens comes out, if there's time. The focus, as ever, though, will remain on ASOIAF/GOT – with a new season (and book?) coming out next year, there's gonna be a lot to talk about...
