Ha, love the end, but I did miss the Jamaican flag "gels" you applied in an earlier reference. W/r/t your interesting theory about Arya, I think there's something going for it, given the carefree attitude she has in her scenes, but I suspect that the money she paid to the ship's captain was the money she took from Sandor Clegane. Given Game of Throne's propensity for ham-fisted narrative parallels and the episode's scene-changes, this seemed most likely to me, and it would be hard to square that with your theory. It's definitely an interesting idea, though. Thanks as always for the great analysis.

Excellent as always. I especially liked the review of the Arya theories. Really hope they're doing something interesting, not just a plot hole. I've always wondered about Jaqen's lines to Arya in season 2, ep 10: 'a girl has many names on her lips. She could offer them all up to the Red God, one by one.' Seems like he knew exactly what she wanted to do and even encouraged it. No surprise she has never become no-one. And why the Red God, not the Many-faced God? Hope that all gets answered tomorrow!

I assumed Arya got money because in the books she had become a master thief as well as a master of disguises. Also as you may remember Aria did not have enough money to book her passage to Braavos. All she had and needed was the coin given to her by Jaqen H'ghar. Shift X's theory makes sense though. It does seem that Aria and Jaqen H'ghar are linked in some way, since the beginning. I mean how does Jaqen H'ghar end up in chains when they first meet to begin with? Does he REALLY need Aria to save his life? His training should make his escape a no brainer but yet he does not. Also in the books it is not clear that this is Jaqen H'ghar at all. She never sees him again after leaving Westoros. The faceless man in the books is simply reffered to as the 'kindly man' his name is never given. If it does turn out to be Jaqen H'ghar that saves Aria...we might also see that Syrio Forel makes an appearance...which has sort of been driving me crazy since book one.

I think it seems a fairly good guess that Lady Stoneheart will be making an appearance soon. The show is finally catching up to the books as far as Jamie and Breanna's narrative. It was annoying that they seemed to be ignoring it completely, but now it seems they are heading to the same place.

I was once hopeful but I'm now thinking that we'll see Beric Dondarrion completely corrupted from his multitude of resurrections maybe taking some of the LSH plot line from the books. To bring LSH in now would require a lot of explanation and there just isn't time.
