Alicia, for future reference, "Ancient Zoan" types equate to Prehistoric creatures. Drake has the Dragon Dragon fruit: Ancient Model Allosaurus. Page One has Spinosaurus, King has Pteranodon, Jack has the Mammoth, etc etc.

It’s never referenced in the anime but the reason Kaido has so many ancient Zoans is because before buying SMILE fruits he used to have a guy who just went around the world obsessively collecting Zoans for him. He was the unnamed warlord of the sea that got replaced after Ace beat his ass.

small fun fact: The word for dinosaur in japanese is 恐竜 (kyōryū), literally "fearful dragon", hence dinosaurs zoans are ancient models of the dragon dragon fruit

Yeah for some reason most of Kaidos actual Zoan-type users have Dragon-Dragon fruits, why Oda chose to label dinosaur fruits as dragon idk but i assume its to do with the japanese naming, its even funnier when you realize Kaidos fruits isn't Dragon-Dragon but rather Fish-Fish: Mythical Type, model Azure Dragon. But yea, they're all Ancient Types, meaning extinct animals, Mammoths, Dinosaurs, ect
