Really don't understand the complaints people have, when Alicia reacts with friends. I really like it. Hope we see more of Adora (and maybe other friends for other series)_ Edit: I think I just realized why they are in Siberia: One of the Trivia things from the Amazon X-Ray overlay said, that the Army General was supposed to be Nick Fury, which means this wasn't supposed to be a U.S. Army base in Siberia but a SHIELD base in Siberia. Which is still weird, but makes a bit more sense. Also where did the notion come from that Susan Storm is just as smart as Reed Richards? Reed is literally one of (if not the most) intelligent person on earth. Yes, Susan was also in College but that doesn't put here on equal footing with Reed. That's like comparing random College students to people like Einstein or Hawking.

so there's a fun pattern in comic book movies every 4~5 years we get an antagonist that gets redesigned as a cloud Absorbing Man in Hulk 2003 ended up very cloudy Galactus in Fantastic Four 2007 Parallax in Green Lantern 2011 Dormammu in Doctor Strange 2016 And we've got Alioth in Loki 2021, which is not a redesign but still cloud-like Which means that we're due for a new one either this year or 2026

Alicia please skip the 2015 Fantastic Four. Not because it’s bad but because it ties into absolutely nothing unlike these other Fox marvel movies that will eventually tie in. So the movie is just a complete waste of time (and it’s bad) there’s prolly only one scene you’ll like at the very end of the film and by that point it’s too late

1:10:20 yeah... from the comics and just generally in the marvel sphere, Dr Doom has the same status as Thanos. he's not as physically able but he's as good or better mentally and magically as a villain. the MCU at least built Thanos up for 15+ movies AND when he made his move he was dominating every situation... and he won... so for Doom, who's often of that caliber, to be this meh is insulting to anyone who knows any source material...

I heard once that the reason why Galactus was a cloud was because the Director thought a giant man in space would be too unrealistic. This in a movie with a Rock man, a guy with fire powers, a woman with invisible force powers, a guy who can stretch, a mad science sorcerer and a silver man on a surfboard. Also happy B-day Adora

"Barely ever a bad MCU movie" -- the only one I would go out of my way to never watch again is The Eternals. It's like someone made a list of all the things that make Marvel movies work, and then decided to do exactly the opposite.

Some fun facts about Silver Surfer: 1. He can actually move a lot faster than visually shown in this movie. I'm pretty sure his fastest speed in the comics is 500000 light years per second. 2. He gets all his powers from an energy called the Power Cosmic, which only Galactus has. (fyi, Galactus is the big smoky space cloud in this movie, and people got really mad they never actually showed him) 3. His real name is Norrin Radd, and he is one of the heralds of Galactus. There is usually only one herald of Galactus at any given time, and I believe he is the only one to actively oppose him aside from Cosmic Ghost Rider, who's a whole other can o' worms. 4. The Power Cosmic basically gives him god level (lowercase g) level strength and energy manipulation, to the point where he can shatter vibranium and cause supernovas just by flying through stars. Oh, he can also easily throw moons, like you saw in Avengers: Infinity War. Oh, and he can make black holes. 5. He has a level of regeneration even stronger than wolverine, being able to survive his physical form being atomized. Sidenote: Tbh, not sure how Dr. Doom of this verse was able to steal his powers, Doom is weak as hail in this movie, compared to what he should be. Doom is on the verge of being a universe level threat in some comic runs, not even counting God Emperor Doom. Not friggin sparkle fingers over here.

OK, Alicia, I have a few things to say: 1. Is there a plan to go through the X-Men movies? Sorry if you already have a plan, but I haven't heard you mention anything. 2. You need to talk to someone about the MCU going forward, cause after Endgame, aside from a few movies and shows, there is not a lot that's good, sadly. I know you want to form your own opinions, but if you try and slog through, you might not get to the decent stuff. Sorry if I'm out of line, first time commenter on here. Also, Happy birthday Adora!! Yeah... the Galactus decision was by far the most disappointing thing when this film came out. The way they made it look, the way he's interacted with, the way he was defeated, all just... wrong. But silver surfer was soooo good, which almost makes it hurt more.
