Zhen is LITERALLY "the girl from Shang-Chi" Awkwafina. And she made this movie super enjoyable for me. I know it gets a lot of hate, but I like it. Also, she's a Corsac Fox. Smaller than a Red, bigger than a Fennec. ...I like foxes...

I'm not sure I like the role of the two fathers in this movie. I think they had too much screen time. It made sense in the third movie because it was about Po discovering and accepting who he was. However, in this film, their purpose seems to be that the writers wanted something that worked in the previous movies, but the Furious Five were too expensive for the budget.

While I personally think this is the worst of the four films and arguably didn’t need to exist, I do really like Zhen! Fun fact: she’s a corsac fox! And I think this is the first time that species has ever appeared in anything animated.

She’ll most likely upload Logan on Monday or at the latest Tuesday cause on her stream yesterday she said tomorrow she’ll be binging One piece and a few other shows. Definitely agree with you, feels like they made this one just for the sake of money, 3 was a perfect way to end the franchise anyway.

Fun fact, Mythbusters actually tested the bull in a china shop thing. They set up a bunch of flimsy shevles in a penn, and let one, then two bulls in. The bulls turned out to be incredibly nimble, and didn't break anything.

Honestly, I was expecting this to be as bad as everyone has said it was, but I still enjoy this film. I give it like a 7, personally like it more than 3

it's thematically more resonant than 3 imo. like, learning to teach wasn't connected to the villain really... and you could argue that going from active dragon warrior to teacher/Oogway/spiritual leader INVOLVES to teach... I think that removing 3 and just doing 1,2 and 4 would still be a just as conclusive/comprehensive story , which makes 3 feel like a filler. like they had to capitalise on their momentum but they rushed the script to do so but finished "the trilogy" with 4 instead...

I *get* that there are people who didn't care for this movie, but personally, I REALLY enjoyed it. I know that it didn't have The Five, but... honestly, they would have overcrowded the story. It was the right size story and cast for what it was... and I really like that this is Po's next step. It feels right for him! Plus, Awkwafinia is just fun XD Also, I really love that in this movie, Po is just straight-up good at kung fu. He's really come into his own, and has no reason to worry about his skills.

First of all, I love the chibi model. It’s adorable and very expressive. Anyway, I actually like this one a lot, about as much as the first. Number 2 is still the best but they’re all good.

This had some good ideas. But felt this movie was unnecessary. Also wish we had more with Tai Lung & the others we’ve known. Especially since the advertisement was really selling Tai Lung hard in the trailers.

I didn't really get the whole "Stealing the masters' moves" thing. Like, how do you "Steal" a move by just absorbing it? I know she's magic and all, but "Stealing Kung Fu" seems pretty silly, even for a Kung Fu Panda movie lol. "I licked you, so I all of a sudden can do a roundhouse kick" And like... she was too small??? Wtf.

I'm a bit late, but it takes a lot of dedication and effort to learn how to do a martial art, and with that dedication also comes more than just punching and kicking, it's a whole lifestyle, and especially in that universe, belief system. Even when I was learning you were not only taught how to fight. If I was just given the ability to do perfect moves, I would be very different as a person because the things I was taught helped me greatly when I was growing up, and I also would not have learned other life skills that have helped me as well. I can see why 'stealing' someone's abilities would be an issue for that alone, and as for how the theft works in this universe, it's not that much different to when they were turned into jade figures and their chi was stolen.
