Yup this gonna be sad to watch again

BT Onyx

Finallyyyyy🥳

Joi Rene

I can feel the tears already

Nox Demetre

Hell yes! Been waiting for this

PandaBH

Let’s gooooooo it’s Logan time

AngelGxbriel

I want to watch this noooooow, but I have work 🥲

Mugiwara

My goat movie. I could almost cry.

roxannesimp

And soon the peak that is deadpool 2 and 3 will be upon us

Talon Karrde

The old man Logan comics are im fact their own separate timeline from main marvel. They are even more depressing.

5Tom51

is that... no... do my eyes deceive me... LET'S FUCKING GOOO LOGAN WITH ADORA!!!

PhoenixRising

Hell yeah im so ready to be hurt again 🫠

PsyrinCall

i'm really impatient for the end of Deadpool 2 reaction.

Royce

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!

Mr. Ewok

So for context, this is set on the same timeline Logan went back to after Days of Future Past. Instead of Robots exterminating them, however, it was these fuckers. What was it they said in the that movie? that time isn't a lake, but a river...?

NERD!

Same

Kyle Hennett

Jean grey is not in this movie

WR_Hart

I'm so glad you could watch this together, can't imagine how much rougher this would have felt solo. Sobbing in solidarity

Mr. Ewok

Matpat's Wife actually answered what's wrong with Logan's regeneration. Its about his cells. The more damage they sustain, the more things degrade, which is why we all age and such. his regeneration kept this away back when he just had bone, but the adamantium skeleton poisoning him slowly eroded that part of his gene.

Jaffar Black Fang

Remember that one line in the wolverine "I saw how you die, you were holding your own heart in your hand" He was holding X-23s hand as he died

Gildarts1#fan

This is such an amazing movie, quite literally the only 10/10 film for me. Great to finally see your reaction to it.

TwojaStaraIFrytki .

If I remember correctly, the actress who played Laura was very happy to have all her claws

David Heath

Okay, not to make you guys feel even more, but I have to bring something to your attention. Remember in "The Wolverine" when Yukio said she saw Logan die on his back, covered in blood, with his heart in his hand? Well, in this movie, he died on his back, covered in blood, holding Laura's hand in his.

Moon

Weird question, is alicia's model... Darker in skin tone? neat change if so

MadMax 1513

can't wait for deadpool and wolverine

GamerKing

I can't wait for Deadpool 2 first opening joke.

N00B

My only issue with this movie and X-men in general is how much of a non-threat the humans are. Its hard to empathise with someone when they're walking around in super-armor and RPGs obliterating people with nerf guns. In most movies I'm almost rooting for "bad guys" because they're coming in droves, getting absolutely obliterated, getting bisected, decapitated, mutilated, burned, name it and yet they're still pursuing their goals. Greed and prejudice are narcissistic and cowardly, but this level of commitment usually comes from hope, desperation and loyalty. That's why I loved the sentinels. They pose a legit threat and justify retaliation for mutants on Logan's level. That's also why I liked the family in this one, since it showcased the threat the villains posed to the innocent rather than the one they pose towards Logan and Laura.

Gai Valentine

1:46:25 idk if Ive ever went from crying to laughing so quickly before 😂😭 Next week is Deadpool 2 and I hope the following week is right into Deadpool 3

RedRam-Ipsen

That Vine boom was fucking amazing... 🤣 Yukio: "I saw you die. I saw you on your back, there's blood everywhere. You're holding your own heart in your hand."

Greyman20

To me, this movie is The Dark Knight of ALL Marvel. That ending was the first time in my entire life I cried in a movie. I grew up each X-Men movie it came out. Logan is more mature than any superhero movie in the world because it brought more realism than it did. It deserved an Oscar but it got cheated out of it. That’s how good this movie is. The older I get, the more I relate to this movie.

Verdigree

In the stories this is pulling from, Death of Wolverine and Old Man Logan, there's always been a war in Wolverine's body with the toxic metal versus his healing factor, and it seemed like his body was always going to win, but when his power got a little weaker, that triggered a feedback loop where the poison on his bones weakened him, which made his power weaker, so it was more and more of a struggle, leading to him eventually aging and healing slower and slower

DLBTibbin

What a birthday treat to me! Time to watch!

Nightmareman99

God Logan is so good and is one of the darkest films in the mcu (you got one more down the line that could come pretty close) I love how they don’t give you all the answers so you have piece together some of the mysteries yourself. The extinction of the mutants and Logan’s weakening healing factor for example. It is due to bioengineered GMOs in food across the globe. It represses mutant genes and in turn weakens Logan’s healing factor making him constantly sick with adamantium poisoning. Another not fully confirmed theory is the fate of the x men. It is heavily implied throughout the film that Xavier’s telepathic seizures could have wiped them out, with only Logan surviving due to his healing factor. Logan could have also told the professor that he was the one that killed him to spare him from that pain causing the professor to be so harsh to him. Ie calling him a disappointment and constantly asking Logan what he had done

ExcelDamage

i hope they play a vine boom at my funeral

Steven K

If you really wanna hear some crazy shit come out of Patrick Stewarts mouth, watch American Dad. He is the CIA Deputy Director and he is fucking insane.

Gabriel Walton

I need an X-Men 97 series with you both!

Vastolord 420

In the comics Logan's life is even more messed up. Every year on Logan's birthday his brother sabertooth would kill someone he loved. So ya the people Logan cares about do in fact all die

Mike

"Logan, I saw you die... It's not like I get a complete picture. More like looking through a keyhole. But I'm always right. All I can see is one part of a person's life: their death. And I saw yours... I see you on your back, there's blood everywhere. You're holding your own heart in your hand." The Wolverine - 2013

Switchchris27

The Westchester Incident is an incident where Xavier had his first of those psychic seizures that injured 600 people and killed 7 mutants, including members of the X-Men, most likely everybody but Jean who would have been able to protect herself from them. The movie was originally gonna start with us seeing that incident but the Director decided against it. I know you said you wish you had stopped at the last one, but im glad you watched this, it will make what happens in future movies hit even harder (In a good way).

Noah Dean

This movie made me ugly cry in the theatre that never happens so glad you guys had the same experience. It is the best xmen movies they have ever made.

Leenis

And Laura as his heart was perfect.

Christo Badenhorst

By far my favorite wolverine movie. this show fucked me up too, I grew up with the x-men and he was my favorite since I was child. but old man logan is amazing, - its just spectacular.

Phantom Penance

“Magneto was right” That’s LITERALLY on a T-Shirt

EDWin qaz

You guys have to react to X-men 97

kush

i lovee this movie and this reaction lol looking forward for the deadpool movies now

PotterBrony

Fun fact, it’s only her claws that are adamantium covered. As the process was done before she finished fully growing it would have been very detrimental to her to coat her entire skeleton

Jaffar Black Fang

They have to watch the 90s cartoon first since that takes place before

Robert giles

god I love his film and i'm so glad you did it with Andora becuse you have watched every xmen film with her. The vine was crazy and me laugh at that. Can't wait for deadpool 2 and deadpool 3

PandaBH

I would love for Alicia and Andora after the Deadpool movies watch The Batman together since they both like Robert Patterson

DC ninja

Is she going to watch the DC movies ?

ExcelDamage

fingers crossed we watch certain other older marvel movies after deadpool 2

xman t

This movie never fails to make me cry. I cried at least 3 times during this reaction. It is truly a masterpiece. Also, interesting fact. In this movie, he really did die with his heart in his hand. I believe it was made canon that this is what they meant when they said that in a previous movie

Fei Ashtear

Don't forget about the New Mutants movie...

The Lazy Gamer

They don't explicitly tell you this in the movie but all the clues are there. Red Shirt Dad talked about the corn syrup and how it's used in a lot of things, it's how the cure was distributed. A slow process, they even mentioned how less and less mutants were being born. It weakened Logan's healing factor, which is why he started aging and why the adamantium was finally affecting his health. The adamantium was always killing him, poisoning him, but his healing factor was so strong that it had no real effect. Edit: Of course I could be interpreting it wrong but that's how I saw it.

The Lazy Gamer

Was it not that the cure was put in corn syrup that was in turn put in a lot of things that humans and mutants consume all the time? Not enough to instantly take their powers away, but weakening then over time. Logan's healing factor getting weaker means he ages as well as the adamantium poisoning actually taking affect.

Yurei Okami

Adora: Are we gonna cry together today? Me: Girl, we are all crying together today T.T

Craig

I hope beforehand,it wont hit as hard without

Craig

This movie hits so hard in the black and white cut

Jobbe Smit

In part Jackman just wanted out, the workouts are brutal. So him dying at the end makes a lot of sense. So he died with his heart in his hand.

MorRud

A bit of context with the Winchester incident. If you listen to the radio in the car, they mention that it was a similar seizure that took the life of many, including the x-men. Charles killed everyone besides Logan.

Wil DeYoung

I saw they were watching Logan and my first thought was "They aren't ready."

Vlastik Cadra

I think best cure for trauma from Logan would be to watch Deadpool 3, idealy right after. You dont have to do whole movie, just the start.

EnderSlayer366

Loved hearing them saying they can't wait for nothing but funny hahas in Deadpool 2, knowing what it's actually about lol

Phantom Pledge

Oh yeah. We're finally watching peak

Jackie Rollins

He died with his heart in his hand just like Yukio said

Cole Savoie

We just buried Charles. LMAO

Ranginald Vagel

Lmao based on certain comments a little under an hour in, I’d say they’re ready for X Men 97

1836Texan

Oh they're gonna hate bye bye bye 😂😂😂😂

DrakeNoAubrey

idk why it annoyed me when they missed the radio telling about winchester

Vincent Price

the wine boom had me in tears choking for breath for a few minutes.

Craig

I think this is one of the best X-men films, and I know it's based on Old Man Logan from the comic books, but visually it's also reminiscent of The Last of Us. At the time, this was the closest we came to it. I know that Alicia has sort of watched things out of order, because this came before Loki - I'm sure she'll appreciate the opening for DP3 (when she gets there).

Charlie

Deadpool 3 ain’t that far away just have DP 2 next week to get through first. And i just know they will love DP 3 as a whole definitely one of the best marvel films in recent years.

Gilmez

Yay! Depression!

D Gai

The Wolverine did some great forshadowing for this movie, he died holding his heart in his hand. That vine boom was criminal, im crying laughing.

Jacob Funckes

Hell to the yes! I'm happy you finally got around to reacting to Logan.

Beelz

not just X-men, honestly I think it's candidate for the best super hero movie ever. Watched it once without having watched any other X-men movies and loved it and rewatching it now with the X-men context had me crying rivers. Such a great movie

KatoBen

Caliban was introduced in X-Men Apocalypse, I believe. He was the mutant broker. Logan was meant to be the final appearance of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, effectively an end to Fox's X-Men. Of course, as we already know, Disney had other plans. Fun story in relation to the opening banter: Pre-2020, there was a streamer/Youtube content creator I used to watch. An alert had went out that he started streaming, so i joined the stream to a black stream. Time went on, the black screen continued, and more people kept joining. Well, a couple hours go by, the number of people in chat has grown massive, joking about the situation, when the streamer finally came on and cleared everything up. He was streaming a game from the computer to his living room TV and somehow the key combination to start streaming got sent and started the stream. We joked with him about that for quite a while.

Tipsy

When the credits rolled it was completely silent in the movie theater. Normaly you have some people standing up and leave, someone starts to talk....but not with this movie....

WindWarriorPlays

IN THE WOLVERINE there was that premonitions that logan would die with his heart in his hands...... and here we are

Noel

Doc kinda explained it, that what food did was perfect humans with gene therapy and one of the effects of that being gene-X to not appear anymore in naturally born kids. He would be fine much longer if not for the Adamantium in his body sadly

Jacob Funckes

15:30 I'm pretty sure Logan is in a different timeline, the actual timeline of all the movies are pretty murky anyways.

Carus Lumen

To be fair, I never really connected Westchester as the school's setting, so it took me a few rewatches to catch that bit, & only after having it explained how Charles's seizures killed the X-Men. It's one of those movies where it's a puzzle you can piece together after the fact, & one of the biggest pieces is kind of hidden in small radio chatter. Heck, I only just realized typing this that if the crops took Logan's healing, it may have caused Charles to lose control of his powers as well.

Yurei Okami

If you guys need healing, every time I watch this I go onto Youtube and rewatch the Logan HISHE (How It Should Have Ended). It really helps. In fact, gonna do that right now T.T GOD, this is such a good movie. EDIT: You know what, do go watch that. Logan HISHE is obligatory watching. I'm all happy again now :D

Joey245

I don't know if this was intentional on the part of the directors, but I always read Laura as autistic coded - specifically the non-verbal variety. So I really like this movie for that reason, and for how emotionally devastating it is. Also, "matroshyka doll of cucking" is an amazing line. Well done, Adora.

Jacob

I did not catch Caliban was the Mutant Broker (working with Psylocke with the pink energy sword) until Alicia and Adora watched Apocalypse. Good Catch/callout, friend!

MMDXXX

YEAH BABY! It's finally time for the greatest X-Men/Wolverine movie of all time! (Other than Days of Future Past of course)

Okarun

1:47:00 Perfect sync, wrong button and logan looking down

MMDXXX

Before you get to watching Deadpool & Wolverine, I'd HIGHLY recommend watching "How Logan Should Have Ended!" It somehow makes the ending even more sad and emotional than it already is, and it has aged like fine wine, as it actually predicted the future so insanely accurately years before future films, and you'll see why soon enough! ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIl_FiV8V6E

Nico

Not adora hitting the vine boom lmaooo

Trevor Appel

1:34:32 And that's the trifecta of his deaths. 2:20:00 It wasn't red 40, it was corn syrup

Demi-DW

Sorry, we're emotional vampires :)

PrivateXimmy

Hey so we haven’t seen that movie yet, we probably should not include spoilers.

Adam & Miranda

No no no, Charles killed all the X men....

Devlin Draconis

Im at 45:48 and it indeed does feel like a misclick (iykyk)

Khalzone

This was such a great reaction, thanks ladies! Vine boom actually made me cackle LOL

N

They yap over the lore, the fact that charles killed the x men

Miss 512

I'm gonna make it worse. It's heavily implied that the Westchester Incident Charles caused by having a seizure killed the X-Men and Logan was the only survivor. Westchester is where the X-Mansion is located, so he likely killed everyone in the school and surrounding area.

Noboru Yagami

Yes sir, adamantium held him back from his true potential

Alice Faust

iirc The Batman is on Alicia's to-watch list, it's just a ways off

Aerllette

Woo! horse game go brrr! :D Also, hehehe, been waiting for this one X3 Big feels

Jack Middleton

Now you see why the trailer used the song Hurt.

CosmicImp

For more of Laura, I'd recommend watching X-Men: Evolution. It's the show where she was first made and Marvel liked the idea so much they adapted her.

MMDXXX

1:32:13 like a bunny! XD

Scott Tyson

A perfect send off for my favorite childhood movies and to be an adult to see the end of an era to an actor's role pivotal to my childhood.

Lythr0_Nax

My favorite movie to cry to.

Ronix

I've seen this man Charles die 3 times on film, excited for the funny haha movie next week also that vine boom was absolutely perfect

YeCrustModifier

The swearing is a nice touch, because one of the symptoms of dementia is you just start swearing with no inhibition

Alex

( Logan I seen you die holding your heart in your hand.)

Sabo

I hope Adora makes the Deadpool 2 Reaction too? And later Deadpool & Wolverine. I enjoy this X-Men Reactions with you two.

Shadowsofpain

Even the radio message said of the 600 victim at least 7 were X-men. Charles absolutely seizure killed his life's work and everyone he cared about which is why Wolverine treats him with a weird amount of care he both cares for him as the last of his found family and blames him as the reason they are all dead.

Shadowsofpain

Yup the doctor just found a way to stop any new mutants from being born and weakened any remaining one with gmos essentially, Logan drank heavily so he kept putting the poison in his body which weakened hes healing factor. Which lead to the adamantium to poisoning him.

MMDXXX

Words cannot how excited I was to see Laura AKA X-23, the daughter of Wolverine finally on the big screen! She's such a cool and underrated character that I've been dying to see in an X-Men movie for years, ever since I played Marvel VS Capcom 3 (the only game in the MVC series that has X-23 as a playable character) and read some of her comics to learn a bit more about her! I nearly screamed with excitement when I saw her claws come out for the first time in this movie!

Mordecryser

The vision Yukio saw in The Wolverine was correct all along. He died holding his heart in his hands...

Notto

No lt

Scrubthulhu

I am so happy that Adora's here for this movie.

Ric

Vineboom

Blizzky

I was crying and then Adora hit that f’ing vine boom and I started laughing so hard to make me fall out my chair because of how lightheaded it made me, oh, I’m so happy adora was here for this reaction. This was a fantastic movie, and also my most anticipated for you guys to react to.

Matthias

Every time we get close to deadpool and wolverine and xmen 97 my hype get bigger.

ComradeRaccVT

Goddamn I forgot how bad this one fucks me up. Ngl the vine boom saved me too lmao

AvatarConner

I'm really glad that you decided to watch all the X-Men movies in order because it makes THIS hit so much harder. Keep in mind that general audinaces went though exactly what you and Adora went through emotionally and it's why LOGAN is regarded as one of the best comic book movies to date. At it's core this movie is a modern western, Logan is our old Gunslinger who is trying to do right by his oldest friend. It's both a matter of family and honor, Charles gave Logan everything he could ask for so Logan gives him everything he has. And Charles gives him one last thing, Laura, he gives him a legacy, he gives him a family again. There's a lot more smarter ways to talk about this movie but I just love it so much that I can't talk about it in depth after watching you two watch it XD So here's some fun facts. -There's a black and white version of this movie that you can watch and it's just as good, maybe better depending on your personal preferance. -X-23 or Laura, wasn't actually made in the comics. She was first introduced in the tv series X-Men Evolution and then brought over into the comics like Harley Quinn from batman was. -This story is inspired a by the Old Man Logan comics in a few ways but mostly in that Logan is old, his healing factor is failing him, and it's in the future where all the x-men are dead. -Logan's death in this movie is foreshadowed in The Wolverine by Yukio (the same director for that movie made this movie) saying 'He dies holding his heart in his hand.' with Laura being his heart. -This was for all intent and pourposes, Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart's last X-Men movie. They went into this treating it as such until Charles appeared in Doctor Strange, and Logan in Deadpool and Wolverine. There's other facts I probably missed but those are the ones that stick out to me the most. Hope you read this and find it interesting!

Luis Infante

Dr. Xavier actually killed all X-Men members at Westchester from having a seizure

Nym

@Notto Cringe

Nightmareman99

Another detail calling back to an older film was Logan’s death. If you remember in the Wolverine Yukio predicted that Logan would die, "On your back, there's blood everywhere, holding his heart in his hand" Logan died covered in blood holding his daughter’s hand

DRedd

Curious if anyone's convinced you to watch X-Men '97 yet

Fei Ashtear

There is no deadpool 3. That movie isn't even in production yet.

Mr. Ewok

"What a disappointment you are." If Mr. Rogers had told me that, I would be DONE.

Michael

How I wish they already watched Deadpool 2 then immediately went to Deadpool 3 after this in one sitting. The whiplash would be legendary and we would get to watch it.

Nym

This movie is so gods damned peak, I absolutely love it, it's been so amazing to see both of you go through this experience together, here's to more X-Men content down the road!!!

Alex

Now we got to get them to check out X-Men Evolution

Chris Ward

As to why the x-men comics exist in a world they were actually in I view it like this. People often romanticize heros to the point their original personality may disappear. People needs heros and we often make them infallible or at least on a pedestal.

Chris Ward

If they had watched Deadpool 2 before this it would have spoiled the ending of Logan ahead of time. It’s better to have this first as things will add up better

Leyland Wildes

Imagine how lonely and sad x-23 will be in about 100 years when the rest of the kids if they live long enough will pass away and x-23 still alive and still would live for a long time afterward

YukoValis

At first I thought about this, but then I remembered Deadpool 2 does spoil Logan pretty quick. That would have been a disaster.

Gekido

Remember in The Wolverine: "I see you on your back, theres blood everywhere, your holding your own heart in your hand" Yukio predicted it perfectly, we just took the part about his heart literally.

Michael

I forgot it spoiled this, unfortunate.

Cameron Meow

I am so excited for them to watch Deadpool and Wolverine!

Hexx Gear

Out of all the movies up till now. I realize you two never noticed (or commented at least) that Logan has a fear of heights.. you see him tense up just about every time he gets on a plane. And when the kids are lifting him up on the pulley. He tenses up again when he wakes up

PandaBH

I think u forgot Deadpool 2

FoobyDude

that vineboom was diabolical

The Dovalord

Remember in The Wolverine, where he goes to Japan, the lady who sees people's death tell Logan "you die holding your heart". probably not the first person to comment this, but it's still so poetic and beautiful not to.

Elias Cristerna

Specifically he was, "Laying on his back, with his heart in his hand."

Alexander deLongchamps

Thank God we're watching Deadpool 2 after this, we need some laughs after watching this movie

Faroth

Seeing that final sequence of Laura and logan exterminating all the soldiers while in perfect teamwork without any word spoken really makes you think of that X project the government wanted of a full army of X weapons. Imagine a full on army or comando of wolverine soldiers, that would be almost unstoppable unless you are jean or magneto

Faroth

- remembers deadpool 2 intro: oh... oh no...

Taka

I laughed so freakin hard 😂😭

Lance Ivy

hes finialy getting old hundreds of years of a hard life and he is just now starting to feel it . as someone looking at 40 this hurts lol

Lance Ivy

solom grundy bron on monday died on a wendsday owned by a DC

Miguel Luna

It feels nice to share emotions with everyone... *vine boom*

Jacob Funckes

I have to say, it's really sad that you talked over the part where it's revealed on the radio that Charles killed a couple of the X-Men, I was really looking forward to your thoughts and commentary on that.

Andrew birds

Laura is one of my favorite characters in marvel comics. I never was really interested in Logan as a character, but Laura always intrigued me

Iron_claw

It would be really awesome if alicia reacted to the movie REAL STEEL it has the same actor that plays wolverine in it. It's a very very good movie

The Force

It's funny to me that no one pointed out yet that you guys speculated on the one kid being Magneto's son cause he moved the car, because you were distracted and just didn't somehow see him lifting the earth beneath it in massive pillars to off balance and toss it xD

AlphaNightmare666

X Men Logan is essentially an alternate story that tells the tale of old man logan in a fucked up world. This movie is based off of the comic series of the same name.

DeathHawk31

this movie was Hugh's idea, he wanted to retire him being wolverine in the most epic way he could think of. I'm not sure how much say he had in the directing though. Perhaps someone can convince him to play wolverine a few more times. Only time will tell

DeathHawk31

trust me, the next 2 Deadpool movies will fill you will laughs

YubarReingok

There's a very good reason everyone, myself included, wanted to see you both react to this movie. This is considered one of, if not the absolute, best X-Men movie. It does so much right in terms of character, emotion, storytelling. It's based off of an actual comic, too. The R-Rating was an absolute must for this, I don't think the impact would've been anywhere near as strong otherwise. And you needed the darker setting for this to work. IMO, it has THE BEST Wolverine fights, and it even gives the fans what they've wanted for so long, the famous Wolverine Berserker Mode at the end, where literally nothing effects him as he tears through everyone. I'm so glad this movie got made, it's honestly my favorite X-Men film out of them all.

Quotes

Except she might not live as long as Logan did, cause this movie establishes that the adamantium is what is causing him to lose his powers and age, and they put it in her at a much younger age.

A Four Headed Deer

I'm never going to stop hearing Wheatley. Thats in my head forever now.

Adrian

Fun fact from a genetics perspective. Logan might not have been dying from his adamantine. It might hace been from his dna going to damaged since each time a cell makes an error when duplicating it losses part of itself. And usually dna tets to short faster but his healing factor was probqbly way in the back of his chromosomes and took longer to be lost meaning he only started againg way later than normal people

Luke W

You were crying from the emotion of the scene, I was crying cause of the vine boom

Vectoris

Fun fact about the hallway scene, where he's trying to get to Xavier's room while Xavier is having an episode: they rigged up a belt with ropes attached and had people pulling him in the opposite direction. So when it looks like he's trying to push through some force, he really is fighting against like 2-3 people. Then again, could be wrong. I think that's what I saw. Been a few years since I tried to remember it.

FunkyOnion

There's also the anti-mutant chemicals from the food they've been eating that might've also been a contributor to his mutation giving out.

dan1023ghi

They do mention the westchester incident briefly on the radio and a little of what happened. From that we know Prof. X had an episode and it caused 600 people to be injured and the death of 7 mutants. So it’s implied Prof. X killed the other X-Men with his seizure and only Logan with his healing factor was able to survive.

Miklar Sihn

They were willing to pay him to be a goon, you could say they were gooning him...

Porpoise Power

Yeah I just realized she hadn't seen it yet... forgive me she posts like 10 reactions a day, it's hard to keep up

Joshua Coffin

Goddammit, it's been a decade and this movie still makes me cry

Robert Collard

This movie is the movie Shane and James Mangold was hitting you over the head with it the entire movie

Robert Collard

Yeah the chemicals added into the food has been destroying Logan’s mutant DNA that allows him to heal at a high rate, and as a result the adamantium is poisoning his body and blood

Nazrel

Only the claws.

Logan B.

Love this movie i cry everytime. Honestly makes me proud to have been named after the Wolverine. Hell, you know my dad was a fan given i was named before any of the movies happened.

Leyland Wildes

True but it wasn't just the adamantium and I'm not 100% sure but if I'm correct the aging didn't come from his adamantium that only came from the claws and the poison and the aging was just natural with his DNA

Notto

Who are you talking to because I know it’s not me

Dude559

They never connected the dots "Where are the x-men" the mansion was in westchester... The incident was in westchester. At the least 7 x-men died, Charles had a stroke that killed them all.

Greywalker

James Howlett is Logan's real name

Praetorian Mars

I watched this movie was in the cinema when it first came out. I can say without a doubt that even though it still absolutely hurts my soul every time I watch it, it's still my favourite X-Men movie and it's not even close

Dude559

Only very minimaly honestly. The actual Old man Logan story is kinda... bad honestly. Also just really fucked up in a not so fun way

Dude559

Also a bit of a strange suggestion i know but if you want more emotional devastation. Then i recommend violet evergarden.

DrA

I wonder when the nurse had the time to make that video.

Burn7G

Every time I hear Adora cry from now on, I'll be waiting for a vine boom.

TheKingFin

I'm surprised that alicia didn't notice that the evil doctor was the Loki variant in the yellow suit

carlos sebastian paredes infante

i came here to not think in my addcition and the fist thing that comes is addicting horese game me: bruh... i mean i still have energy for another carreer.

When I saw this movie in the theater, it hit me a little bit, but I was still kind of young. I’m not that young, but I was still in that phase where I didn’t let things make me ugly cry, but watching this with Alicia and Adora and watching them ugly cry, made me ugly cry this whole movie that the fact that I’m an old parent now

Shadow

pls check out the new mutants it is a fun watch.

Lance Ivy

adora i dont even like the way you say fella ......but that just me i guess

Randomocity732

Such an emotional and gutwrenching movie but a great end to Logans story overall. Im really glad Marvel respected the ending and kept it as it is, refusing to touch it....

Lance Ivy

i realy wanted logan to look at laura and be like charles , scott, arura , bobby , remi , eric , jean, ann mari, jubaltion, kirk , bobby,

SolidFiction

I knew this movie reaction was gonna be a good one

Xandarian Games

"I see you, youre laying on your back, with your heart in your hand..." the vision of his death that yukio had in The Wolverine

Okarun

mhm mhm

Okarun

good thing that this isn't the only version of logan, I really fuck with the worst wolverine. 250 years old still not getting old, that's a wolverine.

Sleepy Hydra

The part of this movie that breaks me isn't Charles dying. It's when he takes his pills then sticks his tongue out like an sulking child to show he didn't cheek his meds. My grandma did that every night I lived with her. It part of our routine. So seeing it onscreen with Charles just made the waterworks happen.

Kaltrec

The food chemicals don't affect existing mutants, it just stops the x-gene from being formed in newborns. The adamantium is always poisoning him, his healing would be even better if it wasn't for it. I'm guessing that whatever Charles did at Westchester also had something to do with his accelerated aging. To add to that, Logan wanting to die probably had a subconscious effect on his powers.

Nazrel

The implication (at least in the comics), is their healing factor keeps them perpetually in their prime, but the adamantium poisoning eventually overwhelms it, causing them to start ageing.

Carlston Solar

Alicia, remember in the past movie the future seeing Asian baddie said "I see you dying with your heart in your hand." Extra scenes and footage fills a ton in.

Salty Pants

bless you and your vine boom adora, i was about to start crying like a bitch with yall <3

FunkyOnion

They were invested in wiping out the mutant population, I don't think they'd bother testing on existing mutants to make sure there weren't any side effects for them. Idk about the Westchester incident affecting his regen, it was basically Charles' seizure at the casino/hotel without any meds to stop it. If it did strip his powers, then Laura would also be in the process of losing hers and will to die from adamantium poisoning in a few years.

GT QcNumber1 Vézina

yeah I pointed out in the comments of The Wolverine saying they need to remember, THIS is the reason why. They wanted to have that parallel. Even Epic Movie Trailer Voice Guy made that reference and it broke all our hearts

Memento Forever

what doctor rice did via the food products makes me sick... it made charles sick...

Eric

The theater was packed and by the end, you could hear a pin drop in between the sobbing

Dorran

Oh... I'm so sorry, guys... I... from the way you reacted to the grimness early on... I knew this one... and the ending in particular was going to be rough. It's an amazing movie, but it is one that I've only seen directly once. Every other time, it was through reactions. Yeah... this movie was made as Hugh Jackman's retirement as Wolverine, and they sent him out in a blaze of fucking glory. I'm definitely looking forward to you getting to see Deadpool 2. I do think the two of you should watch that one together, so you can both share in the laughter... and/or slaughter. But, hey. Can't spell slaughter without laughter, right? But yeah... I'm *really* sorry, you two. These movies really can just tear the heart out of you when they really try. But there are amazing things that come from them, too!

Hoozzah

I'm so glad they get to watch it together, watching this movie alone would destroy alicia, and i can only imagine adora too

LordVed

his healing factor was permanently weakened during his time in Japan.

LordVed

comics in the xmen universe are merchandizing because costumes and jet fuel are not cheep.

Wumpafruit

Adora hitting a fucking vine boom over Charles' grave was the hardest I've laughed in MONTHS

REI

So one of the guys that he calls "Fella's" in that scene where he drops off the limo at a junkyard is my hair stylist. He is also the stylist I hire for my Japanese/Korean Fashion show at my convention. He's the one on the far right side behind the guy in the front at the start. Always happy to see him (Jamie Lynn) in this, lol.

Logan McLeod

Wouldn’t be in Alicia reaction if she wasn’t talking over important bits of the movie and then asking questions that they just explained to her 😂

PurportedGrey

And Logan too, its why he's so old and cant heal correctly, instead of outright killing him or killing him after a couple of years, its taken the last 25 years for Logan to degrade this much from the poison.

Squib Jefferson

im sure somebody has already said this but james howlett is logans birth name but after he lost his memories he only knew the identity hed assumed most recently because thats all anyone knew to call him, eventually charles helped him recover a lot of his memory so now at the end of his life hes taken back his original name to cover up his life with the xmen since there arent any left

Jacob Ernst

I believe she did a few episodes a while back, but the comments were so awful and aggressively rude that she didn't continue.

Jacob Ernst

I have to agree, cause isn't that also the comic where hulk has a messed up inbred family from incest with his cousin?

Rhodair

genuinely now makes me curious what kind of sales a Hugh Jackman breathing/grunting/panting asmr audiobook would pull

Adam

That and there is no Deadpool 3. Deadpool and Wolverine is just a movie that happens to have both of them in it.

Noah Benden

Also notice that after they give him the medicine when he gets to the cabin, his hair has more color to it, nice little detail, and it gets even more pronounced when he juices up

khaliqtessi

Vine Boom. Wonderful reaction ladies 👏 👏 😢 😂 😭

CrispyLeaf9

A lot of people mentioned Yukio already but even his burial is poetic he was buried in the woods on the border of Canada and the USA marked with an X for being an X-Men and the weapon X.

Ryan Whorton

More like best deconstruction of them.
