I have to admit, when I read this part of the manga I actually believed that Okarun could have died. Because this is a story about spirits and the plot could have gotten away with a Main Character's death

Dandadan is so satisfyingly unpredictable. "Oh, momo is gonna teamup with A character from 2 episodes ago and the previous enemy to stop posessed Jiji? right? that would make sense" NO Instead, Granny Seiko is going to come surfing down a UFO tractor beam on a school anatomy mannequin at a comically slow speed to fight alongside an alien mantis shrimp boxer. WTF!!

My one complaint was them playing that one song without Okarun running. I'm pretty sure it's always happened when he was running with Momo, so using it for the mannequin just felt... wrong. Other than that, the episode was amazing.

That's one of the best parts of DandaDan, you never know what kind of nonsense will happen during any given episode.

the creator of DanDaDan said he loves Momo Ayase, and that for her to look good he'll redraw her design again and again if he has to, that's W for dedication, but L for storytelling, the story is great rn but if the creator just focus on Momo we'll never experience how great DanDaDan can become.

Takes some notes, James Gunn. You can have ludicrous amount of comedy and absurdism AND let the emotional moments play out. It's not mutually exclusive! . . . . . I mean that as a compliment to Dandadan more than a dig at the new Superman. Loved the movie. But still.
