I wouldn't say that the best part is over, but I would say the second half gets a bit convoluted. There's a lot of plot points that take away from the central plot from the first few episodes, but I feel like they handle the pace well.

This is one of my favourite single episodes of television ever. Finn is a wonderful villain who comes and goes in one episode and still makes a huge impression. Father Lantom continues to be a top tier character even though he's only in the show like once every third episode for five minutes or less each time. And Jon Bernthal's performance in that final monologue... I don't have the words to describe how that scene makes me feel, every single time I see it. You know, I'm low key jealous that you get to experience this as your introduction to the Punisher and what the character is all about. I've known about what happened to Frank's family almost for as long as I've been able to read. Read about it in my uncle's old Spider-Man comics. The language wasn't quite so graphic though lol.

Sad to say we have passed peak of season 2. The first 3 episodes are my favourites of the whole show, punisher intro and all, but overall 2 is the weakest of the 3. Luckily, season 3 is the best season. So plenty to look forward to.

A celebration of their life would be nice, usually easier to do if the deceased lived a full long life. Went to a cousins funeral recently, car accident at 37. It is much more difficult to celebrate a life that was cut short in their prime. We all did have drinks and all in his memory, talk about the good times we all had growing up. But it wasn’t a party by any stretch.

The graveyard scene just hits so hard man. One detail I really love is how tearful he is when he's describing his family, the regret of not reading his daughter her book, but when he described the violent scene he saw the following day, he built those walls up and describes it so bluntly. Violence and war is his escapism from the trauma. He's used to the violence, but he can't even think about what he lost without tearing up.

man that lady sucks at breaking into a place cool vid tho.As much as I would like to belive in law enforcement I cant.I watch a video on youtube of a person telling there story of being abducted and put into that type of traffic and how they were sa by a member of the police then interviewed by that same person when they escaped.It was not a easy thing to listen to especially since im from the same town they were from and knew the places they mentioned. I dont think I will ever trust any form of law enforcement.

I feel like being told by Punisher you'd make a hell of a Marine is his highest form of a compliment whether in the show or the comics. While I managed to hold back from crying in my original watch during Frank's story of his daughter, seeing Alicia's reaction to it actually made me cry with her
