Any way you think about it, Carrot's story arc just makes no sense. Age, experience, lack of leadership skills, better suited Minks (literally another dog and cat), Pedro's will. None of it makes sense. She didn't even win her fight against Perospero, Oda gave it to the now retired bum who wasn't even there. They really just gaslit this child into a role nobody wanted, lol. And the Minks are supposed to be like this super close race to the Kozuki clan, but there's literally no relationship between Momo and Carrot. I don't think they ever interacted with each other once.

PRAYING for that reaction) There is also episodes that give more context to who Uta is (episode 1029 and 1030) but sadly they were marked as filler so Alicia probably skipped them 😭 (WHICH IS STUPID because ODA HIMSELF said it's canon to the anime. THE WIFI HAKI! Seriously a targeted conquerors attack that suppressed his logia form and im pretty sure allowed shanks to communicate, all the while being outside of the island at the waters surrounding wano is an INSANE feat top 10 in the verse minimum. Just to add context i think oda said the distance from the top of wano to regular sea level is about the same or similar to the sky islands (which is 10,000 meters) or something around that range. Its the haki equivalent of an Inter Continental Ballistic Missile, father shanks is built entirely differently.

To be fair, I don’t buy the “they are supposed to be a race close to Kozuki” argument, because that only happened to be the case because the two leaders were originally Kozuki retainers, anyone who replaces them would be in the same position as Carot. Now I’ll say I agree with you she shouldn’t be the leader, because she really lacks life experience for that(though the same could be said for Momo but I get it its another system, I digress, he did had leadership skills at least ). Like I get the main argument is she has a unique point of view because she traveled abroad, but couldn’t she be made counselor or something instead?

She's the only Mink besides Inuarashi and Nekomamushi from Zou to have left Zou, she's experienced the world outside it and was there to witness Pedro's death, not to mention Zou is a closed off nation where everything is pretty much taken care of, the role of leader doesn't seem to require someone with a ton of experience or even strength, they're basically a nation of family members and Carrot is just going to be the one they look to from now on as leader.

Their two main reasons, worldly experience and Pedro's will, are bs. Every Mink that went to Wano left Zou. Some even took a detour with Nekomamushi. It's not like she has sailed around the world with super strong pirates like Neko and Dog did. She isn't special in this regard. As for Pedro's will. Wanting to sail with Roger, starting his own crew, going with the Straw Hats. This man did NOT want to sit on the back of a giant elephant playing a duke. He wanted to get out there, adventure, and help bring a new dawn.

The way none of Green Bull’s injuries carried over after regrowing seemed to imply that his logia’s advantage is actually regeneration rather than intangibility. I imagine that unless you can prevent his forestman transformation or somehow keep his entire body off the ground it would be very hard to actually kill him.

The excuse for Yamato is a cop out, for Carrot it makes sense, nobody has as much outside experience as she does so it makes sense she'd be the new leader. Besides she was never going to be a Straw Hat if you really think about her presence since we met her, Oda just seemingly didn't know what to do with her and its wasted potential ngl

Oooh HEAVY disagree, none of them were even close to being healed you can easily see that, its only been one day since the Kaido fight. If Bull 1v1'd Luffy right now, Luffy would almost certainly lose, people gotta remember that this isn't dragon ball and these fights are all situational. All 4 of them would have to jump him in order to draw out a win, and even then its debatable

I disagree, I think Yamato’s excuse for not going is understandable, it makes sense with her whole Oden Persona… For Carrot tho… even if she does have more experience in the outside world than the rest of the Minks… it never seemed like she was on a path to learn how to be a leader. is like Alicia said… making her the new Ruler is just stupid… cuz it was never even implied that that’s where her character was going.

Honestly speaking we don't know anything about Greenbull based on this except that Shanks dwarfs him in power. Luffy still has trouble with you know who just trading blows so Greenbull probably would have just beaten all of them here when they are not fully recovered and that is even if he was the weakest of the admirals which is torally debatable

I really wanted Carrot to become part of the Straw Hat crew. They don't have a mink on the crew and she would have been an awesome addition. She's one of my favorite characters.
