Another way I’m like Gojo. I write too much. Coming off my favorite arc, we get one of my favorite scenes. The loose socks photo shoot is just pure Marin being Marin and how can you not love it? I like how they snuck one blurry shot in there because no shooting session is without scratch shots. This episode highlights something that has been in the background for a bit. Gojo’s not the only one experiencing character growth. But for Gojo, this is the first time we’ve seen him reaching out to someone outside of his association with Marin. You know that trope of the girl who can eat all she wants and not gain weight? Oops, we broke that one too. But wait, we still have the trope where she’ll lose it all by next episode, right? Right?

I think this is a good time to mention that calories and Calories are not the same. In America, food companies list the amount of Calories in their food. "Calories" (capital C) is actually a kilo calories, which has 1000 times more caloric density than a calorie. 50,000 calories equals 50 kcalories (Calories), so I don't really know what math the show is doing, because that doesn't make any sense.

Man i loved the episode so much, but at the end i got such an eerie feeling. Marin took the picture of Gojo's grandpa and it felt like major foreshadowing. I really hope i am just straight wrong, paranoid and that nothing that heavy happens this season.

If you want more romance anime ore monogatari/my love story is pretty good though only one season. If you want something more current The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity is pretty decent.

It'll likely be resolved next episode since they seem to skip time. Like this episode was apparently several weeks after the school festival.

it's also mentioned a lot of what she posts on there is just pictures of her food and stuff. which makes it so that her cosplays and stuff get buried in her day to day posting and she doesn't draw in an audience like a proper cosplay dedicated account would.

the 50k calories thing has to be an author error. back when i was at my most physically active i was only eating about 10,000 calories a day and that was when i figure skating, fencing, LARPing, Hiking, bikeing, and skiiing/snowboarding; and i was in high school so i was just hitting my growth spurts. there is no way she is eating 50k

its more likly that they used calories instead of kilocalories. kilocalories are the far more common one to use. If we convert 50,000cal to kcal its 5,000kcal witch is far plausible.

First, no, kcal is "kilocalorie" which is 1000 calories, not 10. So if they'd used calories then she only ate 50kcal. She'd be a skeleton. BUT it's also not a mistake, apparently, as I've heard someone say in the manga they point out he flubbed the math by saying "The shock made him dumber" (or something very similar). Like how you might make a mistake when you're surprised by something. It just didn't get communicated into the anime. He almost certainly SHOULD have calculated 5000, like you said.

No, the calories you're thinking of are also kcal. A lot of manufacturers just don't put the "k". It's apparently actually an un-adapted joke from the manga along the lines of "The shock of learning how much she ate made him dumber", so he added an extra 0 by accident
