Iron Alchemist

I think the sounds the notes make is the same as the badge cleaning sound from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Christopher Moran

You've gotta watch the new trailer that got posted for climax of season 2!

UndeaditeJesse

I'm making that final frame a wallpaper

Yolo

I was thinking the reason aira acted like that after okaruns Encouragement and thanks was because it was the first time she got a genuine positive reinforcement from the heart. Because the times that we see her gets complimented/praised is through "fake-ish" means through her classmates (that kind of abandon her cuz of the rumor incident). I maybe wrong but that is how I saw it

TheTrashBandit

I love that Okarun looks like he's already building up some muscle! He was so scrawny in episode 1 of season 1

Sean A. Crofts

I hate that I can recall that, a sound I heard incessantly 18 years ago, with near-perfect clarity. goddammit...😂

Ghost

Rhythm in fight choreography is the best!!!! It enhances every martial art/fight movie out there! It sucks that directors don’t give those scenes the respect it deserves.

Supermew

Does this episode remind anyone else of the 11th episode of Kill la Kill?

Wil DeYoung

I need a full version of the hayashi song for my playlist

Ougi

Yeah this is consistent with how she is later on too. She's genuinely had so little genuine positive reinforcement that almost any genuine and kind gesture has her like this, be it Okarun, Momo or Evil Eye

Tobias Reinhold

The quint-essential classical song being used here (starting from when the giants appeared) is "An die Freude" in the version of Beethoven's 9th symphony. In English it's known as "Ode to Joy". The poem itself was written by Friedrich Schiller (German poet). The song is actually the official anthem of the Council of Europe and the European Union, so it has considerable significance even among big pieces of classical music.

Noodle

That final frame has some classic Goku vs Vegeta energy and I love it.

MadMax 1513

i don't care much for it being the anthem of the EU even if i'm european but "ode to joy" just sound nice and uplifting

harry

when is the next hobbit movie reaction coming out ?

18:10 I'm gonna kill that cat.

SouthHill

It is on Spotify if you use that, alongside the english version which is sung by the Dragonforce vocalist, ha ha.

poncki1

Aira: "How do we dodge this bullet hell?" Touhou players: "Why is this on easy mode?"

donald johnson

within the next 2 days she said hopefully

KaiserMichael

Right? I feel like she greatly misunderstood Aira's expression and action in that scene.

Adam Burrows

whoever is doing the music arrangement for this is just flexing at this point

VinBin

So hyped for next episode.

Broccoli Ben

I always like to think to myself just how powerful music is. Depending on the song I can really get into the mood of just thinking about my own story, a lot of things I imagine are directly influenced from some songs I listen to, it’s really fun 😊

MoD+

Lol took me a while as a german since I realised he sings "Freunde schöner Götterfunke" xD. Anime and German language are alway funny :D

Brian of South-Ebonscar

The animation in this one felt like a budget saving. meaning next one could be really good.

Ray_Tenay

Ep 9 will have a small post credit scene, heads up!

Sprocket
