Usopp's observation haki is crazy, he noticed the shark before everyone else and the torpedoes before they where fired. If you disagree than look at that scene again when he noticed the red eyes of the shark that shined before firing. He saw torpedoes that where under water right when they where fired. Try to argue I'll wait. I'm surprised that you didn't notice Lilith saying she not Stella and when Shaka was shown it said punk 1. 42:12 I keep theorizing that he has ptsd from bao, which is why he is hiding food he's eating 🤣😂🤣😂

Zoros racism so strong it scared the tan outta Usopp. Serious talk though, Oda usually uses alot of pastel colors so i think thats why his black characters are always so light at best Usopp is Olive in the manga maybe a shade darker

I like your comment but usopp obtained future sight before luffy in dressrosa, while luffy learned it in wholecake. So it's understandable if no one noticed because we didn't learn about it until wholecake. Which is why it was nice that usopp noticed first and decided to run before it showed the shark.

Fun fact, in this arc Oda gave outfits to every female character that emphasizes their butt, because he wanted to learn how to draw better butts and this arc is when he started to get better at it so he wanted to show off.... I'm dead serious 😂

That's something that anime onlys don't really know, every member of the Straw Hats have been pale white since the very beginning, Usopp is not meant to be a black character.

i think he's meant to be black its just that Oda uses alot of light washed out colors when he draws alot but then uses high saturation in objects/scenery. Look at king from the manga cover, he's supposed to be noticibly dark skinned but at most Oda colored him like an italian dude

It was implied since before the timeskip that hakimallowed to use a future sight, thats how they evaded attacks in shabaody againt pacifistas later in shabaody. In wholecake luffy learned that it can go longer than a second, thats all.... And usopp used observation haki first in his own island, when he think of lies to tell, his brain show him stuff in distant lands and maybe in distant futures, thats a recurrent joke of usopp lies be oming true, but maybe they werent lies but predictions he made without knowing how, we saw people using observation haki in way diferent levels, like in skypiea there was the kid girl who was able to feel how many people there was in the islands, (the electric guy who's name i cant remember now used electricity to amplify his own observation haki so that was cheating but still could feel people and predict moves) and there is also in fishman island the shark lady who predicts teh future, thats haki too, so maybe usopp observation haki is like that and isnt explained yet Also, oda has hinted different times that nami's skills to feel the weather before it changes may be observation haki too

That was after the time skip and it was only luffy, zoro and sanji using observation haki not future sight. I see I see, you obviously don't understand. Try to rethink what you said with the story we already have and know. Unless you're behind... than I understand. I'm a manga reader/sub and dub watcher. One piece is my favorite since I was born. I also keep an eye out on the sbs and more. Spoiler means nothing to me, but I respect those that don't want to know but want answers on current events, not the whole arc

Well about #usopp color change, the thing is apparently he was always white in the covers Oda draw so if anything the anime is more accurate now. I do think they should have kept his old color though after so many years with the “wrong” color(compared to the manga of course) I am in no way approving the change as I do think we need more diversity in media

Robin at least makes sense. When she first showed up, she'd been living in a desert kingdom for the last few years, so got a really deep tan. Then spent the time skip living in wintery tundra and lost it. Ussop, that's just Oda's art style, as noted.

Luffy has a great "being dumbasses together" style of chemistry with a bunch of characters (especially zoro and usopp) but I dont think anyone gives off the same level of "oh my god there is one braincell and they are sharing it" type energy as Bonny+Luffy. I love them together

Dr Vegapunk is a character Oda build up over literally 1000 eps and yet stil managed surpass all expectations with. One of best characters in anime in my humble opinion so exited we almost court up now.

The pacing was not really the issue, but the mere idea of Luffy being stuck inside the snake that long. Luffy is almost always sidelined to be stuck/forced to deal with something else in all arcs, most times longer than he even was in the snake.... however it usually does not feel as obvious, hence not as bad.

I don't know if that's the reason. 'Cause he has been sidelined in worse ways imo, like Water Seven's two buildings, or the Arlong one (Luffy definitely should have had the strength to get his feet out lol)

Tashigi is seriously a character who has grown on me so much from when we first met her until now. And I really love about her how while she still has a serious distatste for pirates, she can acknowledge the childrens' desire to see the Straw Hats again, and with a smile on her face at that - because she gets it. "Pirates will be pirates", but she also knows that Luffy isn't your ordinary pirate. One of the few Marines i truly respect.
