I've been waiting for this one. I know Alicia is going to both laugh and cry to this.

Nym

Immeasurably Me

Ive been waiting for this for MONTHS such a good journey and so fun to rewatch all these movies. The guardians movies are my favorites in the MCU and i so excited to watch this reaction!!

KoG Goku

Luving the Fluffy hair

ThatoneGuyoverThere33

Not even remotely caught up with your reactions, but I have to watch this now.

MinusZero88

GOTG3 was peak especially for Rocket's back story made me cry. His character growth sold it for me especially when Star Lord made him the new leader. P.S. Alicia please, PLEASE DO reactions to Godzilla Minus One movie, Deadpool & Wolverine next! Love to see you react to those. Also FYI try Ridley Scott's "Alien" as well for Halloween coming up. They won't disappoint. :)

Vueko

LESSSSS GOOOO

Joi Rene

If i cry, you cry, we cry....together 🥹.

Lance Ivy

what did i ruin ..is it here . can it be watched . i am just saying some people were acting awfully entitled to this one in particuler .

King'sBard

This is the only movie to have made me Weep, not just Cry, but Weep, my eyes were wide open with tears gushing while young Rocket wailed over Lila and tore into the High Evolutionary.

Lance Ivy

one guy literly said ...."i dont like being lied to " cause it wasnt posted last week lol cummon

Gregory Prytyka Jr.

Okay, you're definitely at the threshold where you NEED to watch The Falcon and The Winter Soldier before you go any further. Also Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, and Agatha All Along are recommended. You can skip Secret Invasion, though.

Unluckynick

once i saw this saw up i had to watch finally!! XD hope you feel ok today dont push yourself!!

millecamps

i have been waiting fot this for weeks, i am so hyped ^^ it's 3:44 AM for me, but i don't care, who need sleep... not me... let's go, gotta grab something to snack on. STARS (lol, wrote it while thinking of nemesis saying it)

RaineM27

Perfect timing cause it's my birthday! Excited to watch

Yovan_Night (Purple Rain🟪)

The comedy in this movie is so amazing, bro. It doesn’t take away from any moment at all, and it feels so damn natural!

Noodle

Ahh, I was waiting for this one. It had me ugly crying the first time I saw it, so I knew it would make you go nuclear.

CrowKnows

Everybody in the theater Cried too

Noodle

My only genuine issue is that poor lady getting mutilated by the monkey. Like, that was really mean for a 'gag'.

Kalk Che

She missed the “ I love you guys “ moment 🥲

Houston

You were crying so much near the end you missed when Groot said "I love you guys"

Harry Swinburne

I was both hyped and dreading this one, because on one hand it's amazing and I couldn't wait for Alicia's reaction, and on the other, I knew I was gonna cry again...

CelticLeprechaun

Alicia missing the "I love you guys" is nuts

DomThaPotato

Deadpool and wolverine is next week

Adam Mixon

this movie is one of the only ones lately to live up to that pre Endgame quality for the MCU, its so good lol

Elias Cristerna

I still love that Quill's escape plan was to jump off the ship and have Groot go full Buzz Lightyear and fall with style. Also I'm surprised you didn't seem to notice that's just before Adam grabs Quill in space, their bodies are in a position that mimics that famous painting of God creating Adam.

Nym

It’s accurate to animals tho and monkeys especially lol

Spicy Noodles

this is MY NUMBER 1 favorite MCU film even over no way home. i use to like endgame a lot but tbh it wasn't that good of a film on its own, it mostly was riding the hype of the ending of infinity war. but this movie is amazing am excellent end off for the gradians.

dc

This is from Guardians 2, but you should absolutely check out "Guardians' Inferno" on the Marvel YT channel!

Matt O'Doherty

ALICIA OMG you spoke over one of the most important lines of the series. go back and rewatch 2:21:20 and listen to groot!!!!! THis line was to show that the audience was also part of the gaurdians.

Arnee7

hey Alicia, great reaction as always. Also, if you can fit it in a 'Monster' (the anime) reaction would be awesome. I think you'll like it, it's an incredible thriller/mystery series tho it's not everyone's cup of tea. anyway can't wait for Deadpool and Wolverine.

DYlan Pacheco

Unfortunately you missed Groots "I love you guys" scene which you'll end up seeing anyways later so no sweat there but in a nut shell that was james gunn showing that us viewers have been with groot long enough now that we too finally understand what he says

Leo Goon

Who's cutting onions in my bedroom while im watching the reaction?!

Gildarts1#fan

This movie is such a good end for the characters and the story.

Hexx Gear

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6wsRfRy/ Now that we came to this point I can share this heart filling edit. Wanda became a villian because she lost everything... Meanwhile: Logan, Thor, Dr Strange, Tom Holland, Rocket, loki, Andrew Garfield, Toby.... All in their last films lost everything but still remain heros and true

LazyPanda101

Can't believe Alicia missed the iconic groot line near the end

MMDXXX

YEAH BABY LET'S GOOO!

MMDXXX

Deadpool & Wolverine is next, I can feel it, words cannot describe how hyped I am right now!

Frozeneggo

Loved the reaction! The 3rd Guardians is such a great movie but also so emotionally draining. Through all the chaos that is the end of this movie, You may have missed a part when Groot speaks to the OG team 1 last time, we the audience can finally understand him and that part makes me feel so happy.

LittleMoist

the couch is for laying!

MMDXXX

Agreed.

Jacob Funckes

I'm so glad you watched this movie, it's one of my top five favorite movies of all time, it makes me feel so emotional, both sad and happy, and the action is great.

nervouspirate

Alicia, you have no idea how many times I’m gonna watch you watch this. Peak react content.

True Medic

I cry everytime I watch this and I knew Alicia was gonna as well which made it worse for me. Love this movie.

Donald Weese

You should watch firefly and serenity Nathan Fillion is amazing in that.

Ivan

She announced it should be before her birthday. Will see tho cuz things change

KatoBen

Yeah, I let out a loud sigh because she talked over it and didn't notice Groote saying it.

Hexx Gear

Alica accidentally talked over it. But ppl who love groot and find him close and same time other way around can they understand him. That's why Gamora understood. But WE the AUDIENCE heard him too when it we loved him and got close to there end of the story "I love you guys..." might as well be a goodbye from groot. Hopefully not forever

scatman's world

Guardians 3 lets fucking goooo! One of the best and I bet she loves it

KatoBen

(Edit Insert: Forgot to mention that Guardians 3 is such a genius film. The flow was perfect, the story made sense, and everything was both fun and dramatic. Gunn is an amazing film writer/director.) Nathan Fillion filmed for all three Guardians of the Galaxy films. His role int he 2nd one got cut, and int he first one, he was decked out in prosthesis that you wouldn't recognize him. He's good friends with Gunn, and (at least through Superman) he tries to put him in everything. In an interview, Gunn was asked about whether he'd be involved if Disney wanted to do another movie with the Guardians. He said he would hope they'd bring him on to continue the franchise (I'm sure he probably meant if they do something with the Guardians and not actually give them another dedicated film,) even if only as a producer. Gunn is also quotes as referring to Adam Warlock was a mistake, and what has lead him to change his opinion on post credit sneak-peaks. He said he had a hard time trying to figure out how to add Adam Warlock to Guardians 3 and regretted teasing him at the end of 2. IMHO, he worked out well for the movie, even if he was a bit of a rewrite of his original character. It bums me out that we've now reached this point. The next good Marvel film (if we don't count Deadpool 3 as MCU) is probably The Thunderbolts. I'm still excited to watch a reaction to Moon Knight, and hopefully she'll also watch Werewolf by Midnight. So many reactors miss that film since it was meant to be part of Marvels horrorverse, which was supposed to exist in the MCU. Considering how badly Blade is delayed, there's no telling if the Marvel Horrorverse is still going to make it.

KatoBen

Thank goodness, I'm not the only one who knows Werewolf By Midnight is MCU. So many reactors miss it.

Joi Rene

Oh man.... she missed my favorite line of the movie!! I am grooot!!♥️

Easy Mode - A.I

9:20 - villain or a bully?..... I shouldn't be surprised I barely watch movies I only know him from haha funny drug family trip movie. I can't see him as anything but comic relief but that should change before this vod ends! hopefully...

ReaperKitty

James Gunn why!? Do you love the sweet taste of our tears?

Vectoris

The thing about Adam Warlock in this movie is that he's very much too young. As in, he was removed from his incubation pod too early. The Adam in the comics is physically an adult, and mentally an adult, whereas the Adam in this movie is like a young adult physically (17-20) but like 14-17 mentally. In the comics, he's a cosmic level entity, capable of wielding the infinity stones without the gauntlet (I think, it might be just the soul stone tho). Still a fantastic movie tho. I'm just glad that Thunderbolts did a certain character justice in that movie, unlike this one.

Kaea Edwin

Ikr I was like nooooooooo💀

LBM

Aw you missed Groot’s “I love you guys” line 😔 it’s ok still loved the reaction!

LBM

Yeah I’m curious too if she’ll check out certain movies with certain characters in that movie before watching it

Aye Jaye

Yeah, like he's so strong in the comics that his rogues gallery includes Thanos, he just has Thanos as one of his villains alongside other insane threats to the universe. I'm still unsure how to feel about this Adam Warlock, because an accurate one is kinda tough to work in.

JustIce

FINALLY!!!!

evoL

Had to pause cuz her missing that kinda crushed me. Idk mayb3 I'm just a big baby but I need everyone to know groot loves you guys

Blizzky

I’m so happy this reaction is finally here. It was fantastic and this is like my fifth time watching this movie and it’s never failed to make me cry man. James gun is just to good at what he does. Also, I’m really hoping for more daredevil and a moon-Knight reaction Soon

Catdogthing

seeing a firefly reaction would be absolutely insane but not many people react to old scifi sadly

Vivica the witch

"I really love this actor, he plays side characters in stuff." *Gestures to Sylvester Stallone*

Kris

Does anyone know if she's watched Rocky before? That would be a great movie to react to, maybe even the whole series, if she hasn't.

Kyle Hennett

The Orgocorp woman that gets shot in the leg is actually James Gunn’s IRL Wife.

DankusMemes

What im waiting for is the punisher

TwojaStaraIFrytki .

I have give it to Gunn - he used such a vile and terrible villain that there's no chance anyone likes him

Shino302

Funny story, my sister went to see this movie with her ex boyfriend. So the Peter and Gamora subplot really hit hard for both of them.

Noodle

"You were born to be a dad." And the look Drax has after that. Tears every time.

Talon Karrde

Firefly is the big one Nathen Fillian is known for at least in nerddome. It was sa sci-fi show that got canceled before it could finish its first season because the network set it up to fail, but it became beloved and a iconic TV show. They had to make a movie to wrap the series up. It was made by Joss Whedon, who did Avengers, but shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's one of the best shows ever made despite being canceled.

Talon Karrde

And despite Whedon also kinda being canceled...

Talon Karrde

Firefly is pretty popular with reactors actually, a show like stargate is a hard sell, but firefly gets lots of reactions from many reactors. It's really good, popular and short.

AyatoMisubi

Gunn's direction really is what makes the Guardians so good, i love there bonds it gives me a bit of Fantastic 4 vibes they are family and bloody hell they gonna die trying if its one of there own there needs the help

Mr. Burns

I saw this in cinema. I actually had nightmares of the "Rocket, Teeth, Floor, go now" part. I have no idea why it messed me up as much as it did

Joi Rene

I really wanted hey to hear that part. We cheered in the theater when we understood him

Joi Rene

She had me crying all over again and I was so excited and she talked over it😫😫

Christo Badenhorst

I agree, it was a breath of fresh air to have someone you can just hate in Marvel movies. I like the complicated villains as much as everyone - but it gets tiring when they keep doing it.. sometimes its just nice to hate someone in a hero movie....

daverboy

No fun comics facts this time, these movies basically did what a lot of early MCU did especially for extremely long-standing teams like the Guardians, and what got me into these movies in the first place: changing a *lot* of the details while keeping all the important aspects of the characterization. I tend to be a bit of an apologist for a lot of the less-than-stellar movies of this section of the MCU, but Guardians Vol. 3 is one of the few that doesn't need it. It is the perfect open-ended goodbye to the group, just in case they ever need to bring them back for the next big crossover or next big space-centric hero.

Moviejunkie

Don’t worry, you’ll cry even more with Thunderbolts*

Silver Raven

Drax in previous movies has never offered up information about what he can do. It is to ensure that his foes assume that he is capable of anything if he puts his mind to it.

ChaosSepher

"Everybodys got dead people! That's no excuse to make everyone else dead along the way."

JayX-B

Lol she was crying so hard she missed Groot speak

Nightmareman99

Man fair Alicia cried so hard she missed groot actually speak. I do love how Gunn takes us on the journey with the guardians starting out with only rocket understanding groot to guardians 3 where we all even the audience can

Nightmareman99

Damn first blood would be epic that end scenes still fks me up with having military in the family

Hellguin

Watching this before a 24 hour stream was the PERFECT time, 10/10, no reason to regret..... someone needs to leave onions at the store :/

John Knotts

Because it's traumatic as hell! That part still haunts me. It really stirs a primal part of you that tells you that something innocent and vulnerable desperately needs help.

Lod

I know I was so disappointed. I really wanted to see her reaction to that scene.😭

Ignis Flame

1:22:00, in the first volume rocket said something important to drax after groot saved him. "everyone has dead people, its no excuse to get everyone else dead along the way"

Ignis Flame

SHE DIDN'T HEAR GROOT SPEAK!!!!!!!

Vincent Price

SHE MISSED GROOT TALKING!!!!! LOL

Julamuse

Another small detail that i love and dont see much people talk about is that you see rocket testing out the gravity boots at the start of the movie, which turns out to be a direct counter to high evo's powers even before we learn about him and what he can do. It shows that hes been toying with the idea of confronting he's creator, but never tells anyone, and when asked about it by nebula he reverts to his defense mechanism of brushing it off and playing it cool

Switchchris27

Every single movie James Gunn has made that I have seen has been amazing. It sucks that there is a wave of people who talk about nothing but wanting him gone from DC, because you know he is going to lead it to greatness.

rainyfriday

I love the ending because, true to life, very often nobody dies, and I think it would have been cliche to have a member do the group die for the finale. Sometimes we all just have different things in life that we have to do and so we drift in and out of groups, but that doesn’t make the love and bond we share any less.

No Named

They're people who like Superman for the wrong reasons

No Named

I was not ready to rewatch this 😭

Luxie

did she talk over Groot saying “I love you guys”? Bruh

Azel !!

58:02 Dementia? Memory loss? Isn't this Gamora an entirely different one from another timeline? How is it a memory loss if she did not have the memories to start with

Discerning Deviant

Firefly would be a great show for Alicia to react to since it's a pretty low commitment with just one season (and a movie) and I think it's still a big enough part of geek culture to draw in decent views despite Whedon being canceled. I'm not sure she'd love love it, but I do think she'd enjoy it and she'd finally know Nathan Fillion for one of the things most nerds know him from. Now that I think about it, I'd love to see her react to Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog to see him in his funniest (in my opinion) role. That's short and so much fun.

Discerning Deviant

I've been downright giddy in anticipation of this reaction and it was everything I hoped for. The GotG movies always hit me so hard in the feels like few other MCU movies. Now the only Marvel movies that're out that I'm super hyped for you to react to is Thunderbolts and Deadpool and Wolverine. I'm still looking forward to the others, of course, but only those two had a strong emotional impact for me of the ones remaining.

Discerning Deviant

The Marvels next in line if she's sticking to release order, then DP&W. It wouldn't break my heart if she skipped ahead, though.

MMDXXX

No such movie exists.

Rick Grimes

You just missed the biggest part 😂

JuanmaRailgun

The song that plays at 1:14:00 (-ish)... I did NOT know the first song in the pilot of Hazbin Hotel was based on a preexisting song. And the first time I watched this I didn't catch it for some reason.

poke master gaming

I think you missed it Alicia but that was the first f bomb in the mcu

Azaxul

"Does he get snacks for doing well?" Oh, oh no.

Chappy

I've been waiting for this for months since I started watching your Marvel vids. I knew this would hit you hard; I'm not a person who cries at movies often but everything with Rocket in this film, damn.

noneyabiss

just started, but i was hoping youd have a cowatcher for this one, for support.

Jyxxe

As much as I think the ending to this movie was an incredibly satisfying resolution to a lot of different storylines, there's a piece of heartbreak buried within. To the Prime Timeline Gamora, the last words she said to Quill were that she loved him. But now, unless they encounter each other again, the last words Quill will have heard from her was that she thought they must have been fun. Quill really did lose just about everything related to Gamora.

Greywalker

talking over groot's final line seems like it should be a crime

Iron_claw

I really want them to do another guardians of the Galaxy movie. They said they were gonna do another one and another star Lord movie, but I really don't think they should do another garden of the Galaxy movie or star Lord movie unless James Gunn is directing it. I know he's at DC now. I do not care he's the only one who can direct these movies.

CrimsonWarrior55

More like cried over it, but yup. Bit annoying, but also understandable.

CrimsonWarrior55

They do that even like Superman. They like Ultraman. They like S1 Omni-Man. They like Homelander. The closest to Superman those idiots like is Injustice. I love NRS for Mortal Kombat, but FUCK did they do a number on Clark's reputation.

Dorran

This is one of those movies that inspired my sentiment that "It is heartwarming in the same way that a ripping hot brick oven is dough warming. Yes, you can bake perfectly good bread with a far less intense oven, but you will never get *as* satisfying a result." Man, by the time you hit that No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn "one-shot" fight... you are right there with them, ready to just carve a bloody path through this place... And, heck, even if he isn't as tall as the high priestess of the Soverign, one way to make him feel powerful is to have him just... scold one of the villains from the last movie, and have them take it.

Jaffar Black Fang

So I'm guessing Alicia wouldn't want to play Scorn lol

Jaffar Black Fang

Started to breakdown when he said "Hi grandpa" at the end Lost both my grandpa's last year in the span of a few months

Yaboi7117

My auntie passed and we adopted her kitty named Jupiter. I’m pretty sure this came out before we got her. Ever since I heard Joob Joob I try calling her Jupey or Jupe Jupe 😂

Leyland Wildes

No way she missed the biggest part of us the viewer able to understand groot now with his final line

Yaboi7117

I never noticed the newspaper at last end credit scene saying Kevin Bacon sharing Alien abduction story, nice lil cameo from the holiday special.

Vivica the witch

Nebula might actually know how to drive a car better the Peter. She spent a lot of time on earth.

MrDudePerson

“Can I come too?” breaks me every time 😭 top 3 movie cries for me, next to Titanic and Gladiator

NickAsNickName

pretty sure she just compared it to it

Julio Castillo

i think she missed Groot's "I love you , guys" and now im mad.... even tho the whole reaction is great xddd.

Azel !!

Strange thing to compare to when it's not what the character is facing, isn't it? Imagine if she compared her attitude to 'a guy after a losestreak on a game' yes it would be comparing but how is it related to the plot at all?

TSP247

I loved this movie but I wish they never killed Lylla because she is supposed to be rockets soulmate based on the comics but now they can't use that for the future.

Lance Ivy

i skipped the holiday specal .....is that where cosmo the dog came from

Azaxul

When Starlord gets frustrated about Neb opening the car door.

Lance Ivy

pandaman made his wayinto a marvel movie

Daisy Azuras

Oh no Alicia missed Groot saying I love you guys that would’ve made her completely blue that I bet it’s so rare for Groot to ever speak anything other than I am Groot

Daisy Azuras

When I first saw this movie in the theater, I had like different feelings as the film was going like I originally wasn’t sure I was going to like it because it didn’t seem like a regular guardians of the Galaxy adventure, but then it got so emotional towards the end that it became one of my favorite movies of the series

Sawnderz

I haven't kept up with the MCU, post Endgame. Maybe there'll be a revival that draws my interest again, but for now I honestly think of the series up to Endgame as the essential package, with this as a nice epilogue.

G0R0_!ch!B@n25

BTW that "Open the fucking door!" line was the MCU's first uncensored fuck. Making 119 fucks given by the MCU so far. Guess where the other 118 are from?

G0R0_!ch!B@n25

Also that thing at 2:05:45 was a cameo from James Gunn

Fuupto

Tbf the whole guardians storyline was supposed to kinda end here pretty sure

Freellua

Cosmo first appeared on the first Guardian of the Galaxy movie, you can see her as part of the collectors museum collection, she was fred after the museum collapsed, then you can see her on the end credits of the guardians of the galaxy 2, then it gets featured in the holiday special

josue vargas

deadpool?... does that count as mcu now?

Samuel Brewer

Streamable is still not a good player. ALWAYS buffering and struggles to load more than 5 seconds of the video.

Easy Mode - A.I

it happens so much in so many reaction type things in so many iconic videos or movies or shows. sometimes it hurts cause its one of the few things you were avidly waiting for a reaction for.

Easy Mode - A.I

it did not change that much not that anyone reading this should care... I just gotta watch more movies in general

Diesel Marcus

Me and a friend absolutely popped off as soon as we heard the song drop, then while the fight happened. So good

Millie L

"The Rookie"...? Nah... We need some Firefly here...

Karatsuki

I don't know, sounds like your internet I never have had any problems

Shadow Sam

Just realized, the security girl in the meat planet ship thing, isn't she the new Invisible Woman in Fantastic Four?

David

If you mean the administrator that's Jennifer Holland, who plays Harcourt in Peacemaker and is also James Gunn's wife

Code Kagari

i agree, when im at home it runs fine on 720p. but when im at work wifi it struggles and buffers. reducing the resolution helps when slow

Jax

lol, spoke over Groot actually talking in plain English to (us). This was an incredible watch though!

NixTWD

I love how how Alicia can understand what groot is saying

rabidporcupine80

Hey, Alicia, a little late here, and I'm not sure if anyone's let you know yet, but it seems like you might've missed Groot saying "I love you guys." Just wanted to let you know, since I'm not seeing anything in the comments or anything about it.
