Would highly recommend going back to watch some of the older DC animated shows like Young Justice after this series. I feel Young Justice is a great introduction to the wider DC universe

23:22 It is worth mentioning that while Clark usually doesn't kill, he doesn't have a "No Kill Rule". He is a nice guy and tries to save people, but it isn't a hard rule and if it comes down to it, he will kill someone. He just really tries not to. Batman has a "No Kill Rule" because he would be ending people left and right without that rule. Clark is a good person, he doesn't need a rule to be good.

The poem "Can you read my mind" is also one of those classic references. Its to the original 78 movie and is kind of regarded as the one really bad decision in that film. A great all time romantic scene goes straight to hell because of it. Hence why everyone jumped on his ass. And if you haven't seen superman 78 it might be worth reacting to it.

There’s an episode of Batman the Animated Series where Superman dresses as Batman and fights Bane. Bane hits him and sends him flying. People were complaining that Superman wouldn’t be affected by that but I like to think it’s because Superman chose to so that Bane wouldn’t break his hand or arm when punching him
