mfka, each time I get an a new episode here today, I hear the Re:Zero sound effect, because my notification is exactly that :cry

Patrick Waldeck

I forgot how utterly insane some of the early episodes of this show were .

Yagi di Hoshi

the kid who voiced peedee fryman went to my elementary school at the same time i did, and i kinda recognized him lol. it's been almost ten years since i regularly kept up on steven universe

MKE2ND

They got divorced over a keto diet??

Speed1247

It's a story, the absurdity is part of the fun of it. (I personally enjoyed it even if I did have that thought myself, but my other thought was that anyone who would divorce over breaking a diet is probably someone you should divorce)

Technical_Analysis

I dunno what HD is, but the doctor says I got eighty of them bad boys.

Sam Marsh

if a police officer caught me watching this episode as Steven bared himself for all to see, I would not able to explain myself. They would probably arrest me on the spot, and I honestly wouldn't blame them for the misunderstanding.

EthanEverhart

ADHD because everything's better in HD

Julio Castillo

oh shit, for real?? That's pretty neat. i haven't looked at his current curriculum, does he still voice act?

REI

Reminds me of that Family Guy skit with Asian in-laws Which I remember as a Korean man, lol. "What's your Job?" "Youtuber" "Not real job, how much you make?" "About $200k a year" "Welcome to family"

thedangmaster

I think this serie might just be critical effective on Alicia lol

Brother when I tell you THIS was my first episode and it got me off of the fucking show cuz of how creepy he was

Best episode of SU, encapsulates all the tones and themes that SU does really well into a single episode formula, from opening on goofiness (my favorite jokes in the series tbh), to dealing with relatable everyday emotional problems, to Steven trying to solve a mundane problem with magic only for it to go haywire, to getting super creepy, to steven solving his new magical problem in a goofy steveny way, to solving the emotional problem, then acknowledging steven's growth as a character before ending on a joke. This is the SU formula.

When I was younger, I didn’t take this episode seriously. Now, I’m working retail, and I’m the only person I work with that likes coming into work. I have managers that get paid twice as much than me looking like their life would crumble if they took a day off. Dang, Petey… you got to this date too early in life.

Nuk Limpear

Not the 10 year old paraphrasing Karl Marx T^T

Darc Hart94

You wanted them to explain important stuff to steven, and the first time they do he completely ignores it

Narathan Dragonborn

What Pearl said: "These Shards have a powerful partial consciousness that has been harnessed by Gems throughout history in order to create semi-sentient drone soldiers with the capacity to follow basic orders. Gems once created an army of these drones, but found their obedience waned as the shards overdeveloped inside their uniforms and turned on their commanders. You see, any shard imprinted by any sort of container could become a monster. That’s why it’s very, very important it’s kept away from any kind of garment..."

I really like how they break these heavy real life with Steven´s childish directness. You just can be mad at hime for not understanding
