Only if you go by him having a logia. Otherwise they'd smack up Smoker 5 ways from Sunday. If he could hit him, Usopp would be able to beat him pretty easily.

He didn't detatch it with a devil fruit power. The reason it grew so big was because of a devil fruit. Also some powers don't dissipate after death, such as Boa Hancock's fruit and Big Mom's Homies like Zeus.

York is a Vegapunk but they all use information differently, and more importantly she was able to betray them because she was hiding her personal knowledge from them. She also doesn't know about where Vegapunk hid the snail, because she has no knowledge of this recording.

I mean Franky is as we just saw and logically Robin should be as well and even brook. The weak throat has a decent chance as well , idk why you guys think Haki is needed to win fights. Haki was introduced with the people who had it losing , the real advantage is touching logias and most people don't have that

Oda apparently found out about Surströmming. The fermented shark from Sweden. It's so rank you can't open it in your apartments. I haven't read the manga but my guess is the original Vegapunk is Punk Records so that's his original body with the giant head. The one we've been seeing is another split body like the others. It'd make sense to have the body floating in something named Punk Records.

Also, when has Vegapunk outsmarted anyone? I don't think that has ever happened. And it really WAS luck. Vegapunk never even planned for Luffy to be there. He'd be long dead otherwise. And if Vegapunk was really so smart about it, the message would be playing on repeat. No need to wait 10 minutes lol.

Aight several things to unpack here, one unless theres some extra info in the manga im not aware of, nothing stated it grew so big because of a devil fruit, thats just vegapunk, he detached it with his DF because it grew so big. Second, Boa's effect wouldn't dissapate as per her statement (if it can be trusted that she wasn't just trying to not get killed) but its not quite the same as an active power. Akainus and Aokijis powers didn't dissapate from punk hazard even long after their battle and despite them not actively maintaing them, i think its an active vs passive effect we've seen several times before. And thirdly, nothing confirmed Big Mom died, in fact Zeus still being around is basically a confirmation that shes alive, as Zeus is literally a piece of her soul.

The reason it grew so big is because he has the Brain Brain Fruit. His fruit allows him to gain knowledge indefinitely with the drawback that his head grows in proportion to that knowledge. "He detatched it with his Devil Fruit because it was so big" that was never said nor implied to be a part of his fruit. He also says he "Cut it off" that's not something you say when you can just detach it, he also implies that it was a major problem since he had so much information that he was scatterbrained, if he could just eject the brain matter that wasn't helpful he wouldn't have been so encumbered. The rules of Devil Fruits can literally be anything, we have seen devil fruits contradict others before, we also just have to take Boa's words at face value, there is nothing there that implies that she's lying after all. Also the Immortal Surgery inherently proves that someone can have powers that still affect people after their own death. Kanjuro's ink monster that was going to blow up Onigashima after he died as well. Big Mom's power takes off portions of the soul, and imbues it into other things, we can't say that she's alive for sure because of that.

I mean yeah, Pre-TS Smoker was very weak. He was just elevated by having a power that stops the weaker parts of the world from touching him and then hitting his opponents with an anti devil fruit weapon. It's even worse because he's a gas and not something that's easily nullified like Crocodile's DF. Even post time skip Smoker isn't that strong, but once again if he fought someone without being intangible he'd be done.
