Bread and lettuce are my mouth feel favorites. Lettuce has that satisfying crunch you usually get in chips, except they're also juicy so they don't dry out your mouth and aren't super processed and unhealthy. Bread, but specifically sunday breads, those oval shaped buns make my mouth happy because the crust is kinda tough but in a chewy way and the bread inside, if baked fresh, is warm and soft and just magnificent. I could eat iceberg lettuce like potato chips and sunday breads like bubblegum if society didn't think its weird. Also, I think you would love "Rango".

Also if it wasn’t obvious the reason Hasan never got banned for any of those terrible things is because he never did them. The current meta for a lot of right-wing content creators is to clip Hasan out of context and lie about what he advocates for as some kinda weird own on socialism or anti-fascism or queer rights or anti-Americanism or whatever and because Hasan is super popular in political spaces they get tons of views from groypers who want him to be a bad person.

Cheeseburger Whether you get a chance to stream it or not, you should check out Welcome to Derry, the prequel series to the Stephen King's IT movies with Bill Skarsgard. It's amazing! You'll definitely need a comfort person though, lol.

as a chef for 15 years i can attest to the yelp reviewer critic bs, theres criticism and then there is constructive criticism. One is demoralizing and makes you wish you never stepped foot into the kitchen and wanna just crash out hard, the other is what makes you aspire to be the best at your craft. and thats what happened to the head chef. he lost that drive that made him a renowned chef. and then ATJ's character comes in and challenges him to be the chef he was renowned for, and thats why he was super stoked to make that burger in the end. He found purpose again. Culinary is not for the faint of heart. But i wouldnt trade it for the world. Seeing people be content and happy when they eat the food i make is what gets me out of bed every day.

For anyone who loved this, and hasn't already seen the show Succession already, it's 4 seasons is mostly directed by Mark Mylod, and very much on the same level of storytelling and quality as this! As for the movie recommendation, since you loved both Dune movies, I highly recommend Prisoners, Bladerunner 2049, Sicario, or Arrival. You can never go wrong with Denis Villeneuve's movies!

my personal theory has always been that chef told Tyler that he wasn't going to be included in the dessert and wasn't going to be killed tonight. The only way he was allowed to be a part of the menu was if he took his own life instead and Tyler desperately wanting to be a part of this culinary world after being shown he could never make it of his own volition was crazy enough to actually go through with it.

I don't think so, she'll likely be fine until emt's get to the scene to investigate the huge fire that just killed off a massively popular restaurant, probably triggering the alarm system and will go on her life, barely changed by her experience. Which is what the Chef ultimately wanted and the lesson she got. Food isn't supposed to be some life changing revelation. It's what keeps you alive in the world, eat to live, not live to eat.

Not everything mentioned in a film is meant to be like AHA THEY BROUGHT IT BACK. Shes the final girl, she actually wasn’t meant to survive in the initial script but they found it much more impactful with the way they ended it. I've been hoping/commenting on a bunch of your videos that you'll one day check out The Bear. It's a really well made show and Ant is right: it's very tense. What lets me enjoy it as much as I do and not feel so uncomfortable that I stopped watching is honestly one of the key factors of the show: Every character cares very deeply for one another, even if they're all emotional messes lmao. All of the cast do incredible work playing deeply damaged people who struggle to get along but they're all WORKING AT THAT STRUGGLE instead of just being unforgivable assholes to each other. They're difficult but they love each other. It's a show about food and running a restaurant but I'd argue it's even more about family than the Fast and Furious series haha.

We don't know each other but I feel over the course of watching your videos I have grown to understand your comedic tastes. I believe this movie is right up your alley and the kind of thing that could use the exposure. The movie i've been recommending everyone is the underrated Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013). It is a ridiculous movie, but the action is on point imo. My buddy and I are always saying if we ever meet jeremy renner we want only hansel and gretel merch signed, to hell with the Avengers, I want a signed witch hunters poster!

Not saying this as a movie suggestion, but if you were to watch Warm Bodies at some point I wouldn't be against it. As someone who did not care at all about the teenage supernatural romance novel trend of the late 00s/early 10s, that movie was far better than it had any right to be.

Fuck I love the idea of this almost "restaurant cult" vibe the entire chef staff has. When the head chef said "we are all going to die" and the staff responded with "Yes chef!", genuine fucking chills. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry and spent 3 years of chef school trying to become a chef only to quit after over half a years of work because it instantly drained all the passion I had for cooking, this is awesome.
