The problem with saturn (why imu killed him) wasn't only that he let luffy escape, it was that he went behind their backs and instead of scrapping the iron giant he studied it, and that is what caused all of this to happen. the snail was protected by the giant, luffy escaped because of the giant and all of this was because of the fact that he didn't follow orders and scrap the iron giant 200 years ago

I love Edison after this - he picked parts from Shaka, Pythagoras, and Atlas, but didn't take parts from Lilith or York. York for obvious reasons, but he also didn't seem to feel the need to integrate Lilith, who is still alive and has her body. So Edison ends up with his own head, one arm from Atlas, one arm from Pythagoras, Shaka's body/legs, and safeguarding Stella's brain. Vegapunk very much still exists, no doubt about that. It makes me wonder how intentional the focus on Kuma was this episode, too - Kuma, too, very much still exists somewhere in that cyborg body. It's just that he isn't as easy to access as the Vegapunks are.

I LOVE the sequence with the Vegapunks inside the, "mindscape"? I dunno I just think is so bittersweet seeing that they are together laughing in this surreal state, not alive but not dead. I dunno if Oda has plans to bring them back as full individuals again, I mean if they could isolate their traits into a body before they can do so again in theory but for now I really like the bittersweetness of it and how it was depicted.

There are One Piece movies, the Ryuma spinoff one-shot, the cover stories, the SBS, the Color walk... I'm not saying it will be enough until season 2 start, but at least it's something...

So what I would ideally want York's Great Punishment to be for all this. She lived a life that she should have wanted for naught. All she had to do was eat, sleep, and take "bathroom breaks" and thinks that becoming a Celestial Dragon is something to covet and betray everthing for. But now she is the only Vegapunk the WG has left and you think they are just gonna let her laze about in Mary Goise? Especially while they have the aim of completing the Mother Flame? What I expect, and want immensely, is for the WG to mercilessly work her ass to the bone for everthing they want and expect from Vegapunk. I want her to be driven like an abused mule at a black company and maybe, just maybe, she will wonder what the hell she did this for.

I thought Alicia would make a bigger deal about - finally catching up and 3 weeks later the anime goes seasonal... looked it up - 2.5 years ago her One piece journey started. I think she had just gotten to reverse mountain or something when I joined up - it's been some good times

long wait for Elbaph but this year is stacked especially winter and spring of course I believe re:zero season 4 can be anime of the year but there's a lot like frieren season 2 (only 10 episodes tho) thend of Fire force, Sentenced to be a Hero, JJk S3, Oshi no ko s3, MHA vigilante, Trigun, Jojo part 7, Dr stone (last 2 parts were anime of the year to me) and Iruma-kun continuation
