Yep. I think they passed by a cannon as well. I think the "demon" blight might some left over bioweapon from an appolyptic war that was fought before. And they said the goddesses are ancient weapons. Perhaps the first demon lord is a goddess that turned on humanity after she was used to fight humans.

tbh I'd take 1 info dump episode over them casually spending 10 min in the middle of a fight to explain shit. This way we can get into the actual plot and not have to listen to exposition in the middle of something really important and then have it be a cliffhanger for next weeks episode

My biggest question atm is what the hell does the Holy Order (forgot what they’re called so I’m just going off of Holy Knights) have to gain by dishonoring Xylo? He was such a strong and well respected commander, why would you go and frame him as a criminal?

I think they needed someone to blame for the mission failing, the goddesses death, as well as covering up the fact that blight can affect a goddess. That's what i think at least

yeah, honestly i really want to see alicia react to "to your eternity" because it's a beautiful show with a beautiful story, but on the other side of things i know it will destroy her and i don't know if it's a good idea.
