No lie. I've never been a fan of the men vs women thing they've decided to settle into. I prefer when teams are mixed. Because sometimes shit just ends up like that team man vs wild stuff where the men are a well oiled machine and the women suffer cause they couldn't even collect food or water properly

Girls vs Boys always becomes frustrating to watch because it always ends up as "oh look how much better this one sex is at doing something than the other" but in reality, its not the sex, its the individuals chosen, and they should focus on the individual's abilities, which is a lot more fun to watch.

One of the most "Early 2000s" reality shows I can recall is "Playing it Straight". I learned about it when the now defunct channel Fox Reality played a marathon of it while having interviews with the participants during the commercial breaks which were pretty interesting. The show as a dating show where a woman was brought to a ranch where she had to eliminate male suitors each episode, but half of the men were actually gay men pretending to be straight. If she picked a straight man during the finale they would split 1 million dollars. If she picked a gay man during the finale then he would get the million dollars. Fox had so many horrible reality shows in the 2000s.

it can be done easily with an actual bottle and saber, but tom did it all kinds of wrong. You need to slide a long blade almost parallel to the bottle really fast along it's seam, knocking the corked end off smoothly. Tom whacked at the neck with the blade like a hatchet until he crushed through.
