The heat is definitely hot, but I think 1-6 of season 2 were important establishing content... But admittedly, it gets deep into the weeds of the creative process and industry. Might have hit your TL;DR space? But Abiko's crashouts alone were some of my favorite parts of the season - seeing someone struggle with passion, expectations, and social limitations really hit home. We also got our first hint of how deep Ruby could go, so that's not nothin'. But OMG these last few episodes have been non-stop FIRE. Like, almost TOO MUCH. I need palate cleansers after this show now!

Btw, the half brother in a few years older than the twins. . . And their dad was 15 when Ai got pregnant. . . So um. You know. Another reason why the fail actor did a murder suicide was probably a little less about finding out his wife cheated on him. . . And more that she r-ed a kid.

The first few episodes of S2 were definitely slow, but lumping 4-6 with them as “trash” is crazy work. Some of the best character development and exploration we see in this show is in that stretch

Shit I know I'm a bit late to the comment section but I've been watching this reaction series lately and she seemed to mostly like season 2. Did i miss something where suddenly she decided it sucked? like i remember her saying the first 3 or 4 episodes were a bit slow but after the full Tokyo blade show stared every episode she was saying how much she loved what was happening. What happened between then and this that makes her say we should toss most of season 2 in the garbage? I'm not even saying she's wrong I kind of thought the Tokyo blade arc was slow and could have been done in fewer episodes to focus on other things but hearing this kind of vitriol for an arc she claimed to really like while going through it makes these reactions feel a little disingenuous.

Honestly… she really seemed to like season 2, she kept gushing about it. I’m really surprised at how she’s talking about it all of a sudden, like it’s been bad between season 1 and now.
