Working vampire hours, playing kitchen politics, in a race-to-the-bottom economy while we mask and isolate ourselves in hope of a better life. At least Rachel and Heather got to experience real love, because this business rarely delivers that level of fulfillment. As someone who ended a 12-year relationship 3 years ago, is bi-sexual with ADHD, OCD, PTSD, slightly on the autism spectrum, and a chef I can empathize whole heartedly. Thankfully I'm seeing a psychiatrist about my depression and anxiety, but it's hard to "weaponize" myself better as someone who's neurodivergent in the workplace.
