gotta love zoro and sanji protecting usopp while descending the reverse mountain, they know he isnt that strong, so they hold him in place the live action added so many small details that is actually nice to see them in action

Honestly I’ve been seeing the opposite reaction, people who’ve only seen the live action liking Luffy’s portrayal while some anime watchers complain. Me personally I love how all of the actors portray them

I'm honestly happy that they are doing some relevant flashbacks within reasons to stuff that happens later. I like seeing Barto in Loguetown. I liked seeing Brook and the Rumbar pirates when they meet Laboon. I liked the reference to Nika. And I liked all the other ones that have happened and will happen. Makes for a better narrative than just going "This guy was always there, we're just bringing him up now" which Oda did have a habit of doing.

"oooh, that sound sexual" - one of the funniest things to see in the fandom is how many OPLA-onlies have started to jump into the shipping pool. I've seen some fun ones. Like, obviously all the crew with crew - pretty standard - but some of the more fun ones are Smoker/Garp and Tashigi/Robin or Tashigi/Helmeppo/Coby. The interactions between characters that may or may not have happened back-scene in the manga and anime but DO happen in OPLA has opened more doors for more ships and I'm here for it completely. XD
