Thank you for the reaction to this wonderful animation. It is a fun animation where you can see the production process and the stories of young teenagers. Future Boy Conan, which appeared in the middle, is a show I watched on cable TV when I was young and found so entertaining that I saved up my allowance to buy it as my first DVD.

Baindrik Morgren

Ah yes, the anime where they decided to draw school girls as they most commonly are. A range of different sized gremlins.

Ohmygosh!Ohmygosh!Ohmygosh!Ohmygosh! Yes!!!!! Ive waited 3000 years since i saw you had this on your list!!!!!!!

This show is a love letter to animation, and my God it it so cool to get a peek at how animation works. It didn't get enough mainstream attention when it came out so I am so glad you are watching it, it seems like a perfect show for you!

Gameboy plugin light mentioned, I remember not having it sometime and having to play via the highway lights whenever we passed one.

Randomly dropping multiple episodes of PEAK on a Sunday morning (MY Time-zone) without ANY buildup AND with Ant?!

Sam Marsh

I was not expecting Alicia to react to this beautiful love letter to the craft of animation, and I’m excited to see her journey through this wonderful series.

When it comes out, I hope Alicia reacts to the Witch Hat Atelier anime. I read the manga to fill the void left after The Owl House ended (especially after it was recommended on social media by Dana Terrace herself), and it is such an incredible series.

YES. YES. YES. Many years ago at this point, I basically burnt out on anime. The large amount of overly generic isekai grinding me down, until I simply stopped watching. And it was Eizouken that finally reminded me of why I love the medium, animation in general. It have a very special place in my heart because of it. It is just such a beautiful and well made show. My favorite thing will always be the homemade sounds in their fantasy sections. It was also the one that finally made me watch Future Boy Conan, the anime she watches at the beginning, Hayao Miyazakis, the only series he has fully written and directed. Which is a very fun show to people who like classic adventure stories.

Edwin Knapp (With a hard K)

I love this anime, as Kanamori is one of my main inspirations for how to help my friend with his art! Learning to balance some force to help focus his energy, with also never stifling his creativity has been very good for both of us ^^

Bakanoodle

Oh damn I was not expecting this here, but awesome. It's a rather niche series but an amazing one

cyberspacecat

Nothing New

NICE PICK!!! This one is a hidden gem that I personally revisit each year

Kaiza_kun

"It feels like a little baby watching Ghibli" lmao that's super accurate, because the anime she was watching (Future boy Conan) is a real anime that was literally directed by the guy who started Ghibli.

Your Health is Low

Hell yeah! I can't wait till I get home to watch these.

CarbonDog

Ngl, I saw the name of this anime a few years back and without looking further into, assumed it was a rom-com

PokéBoyBB

I’ve always put this anime off cause the main characters weren’t all to appealing to me design wise. Not that their designs are bad, they’re great and exude their character amazingly! It’s just I have a preference for more conventionally attractive or cute characters. But seeing it now with you Alicia, I ABSOLUTELY loved this and was SO wrong for ignoring it till now. It’s so cute and charming! And as an artist, specifically a character artist like Mizusaki, I am enamored by how they captured the art process and how fun it is to create with others. I can’t wait to binge this anime with you^^

Mojo

I hope the person(s) who paid for this show is still around. TY for watching it through Alicia & Ant <3
