LiveLeak was HUGE for beheading videos or anything realitvely gory if i remember correctly, also the little critter that pulls off the other ones head in the fight looks exactly like Interactive Buddy which was a little flash dude you could beat up back in the day on newgrounds.

The last two episodes are more like bonuses rather than finales. I think Gleps episode was the finale. I wouldn't say they got tired or sick of it. The creators Zach and Michael said that they feel like they peaked with Smiling Friends. They rather end it than doing more episodes with half ideas and dragging it out like many other series. They want to put 100% into it which they feel like they have. They may or may not revisit Smiling Friends. But they didn't want to promise anything or have us wait for something that never comes. Wanted to leave it with everyone remembering Smiling Friends foundly instead of "Remember when Smiling Friends was good"
