Kyutoko

OMFG IT'S HAPPENING! I WATCHED THIS A THOUSAND TIMES AS A KID!!

Mr.M

THANK YOU ALICIA MY RAT QUEEN 👑🧀

Mr Evol

Welp, this one wasn't on the bingo card, lol

Scarecrow443

Oh, my childhood... God, i'm gonna cry, damnit...

Jaffar Black Fang

A youtuber named MagicMush did a great video on the brave little toaster Also dude makes great videos in general highly recommend his stuff

Donicio

No,believer it or not a guy I was in high school with actually did break his neck doing that. After he was paralyzed, and suffered from seizures after. I prefer the DBZ method and moving my neck left to right

Jose Felix

I don't know if you'll see this message but if you get a chance, could you react to Ralph Bakshi's American Pop?

Jarod Cain

Oh wow, guess I know what I'm watching when I get home

Girthquake23

I have never seen this movie BUT I have seen the trailer for it countless times cuz it played as the trailer to one of my vhs movies growing up lol

bc@t

Yeah! Then an hour later 😭

dragon emperor ry

Time to go on the adventure to find their owner and get scared and traumatized

ANDROID

The vacuum Kirby is voiced by the legendary Thurl Ravenscroft, who voiced Tony the Tiger for 50 years (“They’re GRRRREAT!”) and for singing “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” EDIT: 26:06 - Thanks for pointing that out Party!

Silver Raven

YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES

Steven Sunseri

The overhead lamp and the maggot from corpse bride are both caricatures of an actor named Peter Lorre, he's a really common caricature in animation. So not same voice actor for both but same inspiration!

gamer cental 23

Those scrapyard magnets are no joke,my grandad and I went to one recently to throw out some metal and they told him not to get close or his pacemaker could get pulled out

ANDROID

Such an underrated classic. I remember in first grade bringing the VHS tape to my after school program to play for my peers and since then they wanted me to keep bringing it because they loved it that much. It really warms my heart when I see people discover this movie. EDIT: I had no idea this movie had so many innuendos and sus moments omg 💀💀💀 (24:43 in particular)

Aliulo

BABE WAKE THE FUCK UP, ALICIA'S WATCHING A REAL-ASS MOVIE.

Bologna Amputation

"Who the FUCK toasted nothing!?" is going to live in my brain forever now.

Donkle

I sort of realized while watching this that Toaster has abandonment issues and it's why he pushed Blanky away and then got anxious when the animals looked at their reflection in him the way his master once did. He then pushes away the flower's affection and, after seeing how badly it hurt the flower, felt bad about how he pushed Blanky away. That's why Toaster started showing Blanky affection.

Zeekutar The Immortal

A great depression, 2 world wars and a ban on booze caused one generation to become hoarders with mental issues. 90 minutes of talking appliances caused an entirely new generation to become hoarders with mental issues

Caster the Gravedigger

This movie was a staple of my childhood. They really don't make movies like this anymore. They were not afraid to add darker tones to children's media. You should watch the Secret of NiMH next.

DrOverbuild8363

I'm confused and annoyed. Why won't Patreon load the video to let me watch her reaction to the insanity and heart that is The Brave Little Toaster?!!!

Robert C. Dona

I wished I still had Discord. After the id thing I backed out. I would have recommended An American Tale.

Kyutoko

Is the video just refusing to play for anyone else? I've been trying to watch for an hour now.

DrOverbuild8363

Not sure whats going on with Patreon for me, but it won't let me watch any of her stuff right now. Thankfully I found a work around for this specific reaction.

Glitchmaster1872

"max challenge attempts exceeded" ? is it an error on Patreon, the video player or my pc. Judging from the comments it's not just me.

ComradeRaccVT

None of her videos are working for me rn I don't get it

Artemis

Next movie to pressure Alicia into watching now is toy story

MacGuffin

Yeah, it's some kind of issue with Patreon. Can't watch any videos, not just Alicia's.

ANDROID

And the air conditioner is voiced by the late and legendary Phil Hartman (giving his best Jack Nicholson impression). EDIT: The lampshade at 1:11:33 is also voiced by Hartman but this time he’s doing a Peter Lorre impression

wwesvrfan215

That is the original Tony the Tiger playing the vacuum. This is one of his last acting roles, he returns for both the sequels and then stops doing VA work. He's also the singer in You're a mean one Mr Grinch.

DankusMemes

i think streamable is down or something

AnotherWeeb

it's not a you issue. Patreon is currently shitting the bed a little

DrOverbuild8363

Thanks, but your 20 seconds too late on that one. Still its weird that this is an issue now of all times.

ExcelDamage

the creepy lampshade and the worm from corpse bride are (probably) different VAs (havent actually checked), they're doing an impression of a much older actor called Peter Lorre. there's tons of examples, mostly animated, of people doing impressions of him cos the voice is just so fitting for that sort of creepy vibe!

Demon of Empire

What happened to the air conditioner at the beginning...my mind immediately went to Jax in The Amazing Digital Circus.

Ric

Today I learned that magnets apparently causes weird dreams. Thanks Key

Jose Juaquin

Alot of 80s to early 2000s had some o f the best children movies cause while meant for kids as adults you can enjoy them as well a majority of kids entertainment treats them as idiots using loud sounds and bright colors to entertain them.

Sev the Hollow

Now we should absolutely get Alicia to watch Toy Story, and oddly enough when it got to the Scrapyard I thought of the movie "9" which I hope we can get her to watch that too

Dyllan Egilson

This is exactly the reaction that I was looking for. Thoroughly satisfied.

Sev the Hollow

I remember watching this movie as a kid and the one thing that stuck in my mind for nearly two decades was the "Worthless" song cause it was so dark yet I didn't really understand why I was so sad for the cars

Leonheart009

That clown would eat Pennywise for breakfast still haunts me to this day

Kyutoko

It's just Alicia for me, I checked the other channels I follow.

Miguel Luna

wait wait wait. you havent seen toy story... thats something that needs to be fixed

Bologna Amputation

Holy shit, that magnet-dream conversation has me wheezing, especially Alicia's smug look as Key explains it. Solid fucking gold.

F0ZYWOLF

You should watch The Land Before Time, also in case you aren’t aware that white woman joke was from the movie Blazing Saddles

Zetswe Nox

I haven't seen this movie in 20 years...it still kinda holds up.

Beetlefan

It's definitely different voice actors. I know it's Phil Hartman in this (he was also the jack nicholson air conditioner) and he'd passed on by the time "The Corpse Bride" was made. Always love a Peter Lorre impression though. His voice is most likely better known for the impressions than his actual filmography.

DRedd

I can't get through Worthless without tearing up. It's always the Pick-up Truck's verse that gets me. Both because he had the closest connection with the most people and because, unlike the rest of them, he didn't fight, he didn't give up, he walked himself to his death.

DrOverbuild8363

Anyone else thought the Marshmallows looked like mini hot dogs? I guess it was just the lighting, but it really confused me.

Heartless

Surprisingly the song that scared me when i was a kid for this movie was the worthless song. Its pretty gruesome in context.

WormyG

The Toaster got the feeling to be nicer to Blanket after seeing the flower die after rejecting it. A lot of people miss that it was the same color as Blanket and wanted the same thing, companionship.

Glitchmaster1872

Guys, when it comes to this. There's a difference between forgetting something and just repressing it. I repressed most of these movies. I watched two of them ONCE, when I was a kid and never again.

Ink Magus

I literally made a little squealing noise when I saw this reaction. I'm in my 40s, I don't squeal damnit!

N00B

Dreams actually ARE just 6-8 minutes long and occur during REM sleep. If you don't reach REM, you don' dream. Also, I am very surprised that Alicia didn't bring up MRI machines, considering she spent a lot of time encased in basically giant magnets, sleeping.

Baindrik Morgren

Congratulations, you've now watched what most of us refer to in one way or another as "Childhood Trauma the movie"

Afell Tale

I have SUCH a hard time cracking the right side of my neck. But the left? Grab and TWIST baby

Kyutoko

I think Key is talking about EMF, which yes, if high enough can cause mental and physical problems. So... yeah, you could have bad dreams... but WHY you'd be sleeping under a junkyard magnet or cell phone tower eludes me.

WillGlacier

This. . . this is a real movie? I just thought it was pure gaslighting when he mentioned it during the last react I never even bothered fact checking

Aku

brave little rat watching brave little toaster

Verdigree

You see, the bit is that the flower is a dafodill, a Narcissus, so they're do a whole joke about Narcissus the mythological character who fell in love with his reflection

Kasper Kamstrup

I think the last i watched this movie the Soviet Union still existed

Chris White

Well, THIS is the LAST movie I’d expect Alicia to watch, but I admit…it’s a CLASSIC.

Andrew Roberto

Them talking about a dog finding its way to its owner made me think about the Homeward Bound movies. If you haven't seen any of them, I recommend watching at least the first one, but they are all very cute and great movies. I believe the first is based on a true story.

DDayJayke

The Vacuum wanted to take the picture away so the Blanket would stop crying. He didnt want to destroy the picture. Also, the lamp asked an innocent question, only Alicia could make it NSFW

DDayJayke

You've never heard of this movie???!!! Blasphemy!

Trevor Appel

Adventure The 40:15 Much like how the characters in Winnie-The-Pooh were the aspects of ptsd for WW1 veterans

Mantis

YEAH BOIII

Sam Marsh

I didn’t think much about it when I saw this movie as a child, but only now as I rewatch it as an adult can I acknowledge how completely unhinged this film is (still really enjoyed it though).

ANDROID

Same! Only now as an adult did I realize the way the AC said “What are you gonna do? SUCK me to death?” 😂 (I was laughing so hard listening to it in my car I almost had to pull over to catch my breath)

ChaosSepher

Alicia has mentioned Land Before Time during stuff before

Tyler bandin

Now let's add neverending story, water ship down, and land before time to that mix

Vincent Price

Well done everyone, we successfully bullied Alicia into watching this.

Vincent Price

omg I just realized why i have like 5 toasters that I have kept from moving one place to another. I think this movie made me subconsciously hold on to them cause I don't want to break their hearts.

Apofisu

I tried the neck Crack dvd it worked one side, but now that one spot feels really warm.

Taxen of Hearts

Alicia confusing the idea of a car driving someone to a wedding with cars dating people made me cry. I was screaming

Joshua Coffin

re: 7:30, don't mock, he might have a drinking problem!

danman14125

You really haven't seen Toy Story? I feel like the rest of the year will just be Alicia watchng the Toy Story series, then every other animate toy movie. Even that Christmas one, can't think of the name.

Moviejunkie

I love your movie reactions. They are the best.

Vivica the witch

I'm a whiskey on the rocks girly. But if I'm out and a drink on the menu sounds good. Yeah give me that fancy shit bitch that sounds amazing.

Vincent Price

As a Texan myself. I was laughing my ASS off that entire conversation. Those three were fighting over a single brain cell.

mitchhamilton64

i just wanna say, beauty and the beast is not a story about a woman with stockholm. thats just a dumb internet thing that went around by those who didnt watch the movie, or early disney movies but then tries to portray those women as "useless" and just "waited for a man to solve their problems."

Baindrik Morgren

If we wanted to be mean we could add some old anime movies to the list. I still struggle to watch "Nausicaa" without feeling depressed and "Grave of the Fireflies" messed me up something fierce.

CatGod101

now she just needs to see the other 2 movies

Moviejunkie

Can’t wait to see your reaction to Wall-E and The Wild Robot.

Adam & Miranda

its magic, don't gotta pay no bills on no magic

Joshua Coffin

I had to be drunk to watch this, and I 100% made the right decision

TSP247

This movie reminds me of "The Pagemaster" movie. If anyone here is looking for a Great movie I would Highly suggest looking out for "All Dogs Go to Heaven" from back in 1989, I will give fair warning it is a sad movie and it gets even more sad if you know what happened to the main cast. I personally grew up with "All Dogs Go to Heaven 2" on VHS tape and it was a great movie.

Jase

The hanging lamp was a Peter Lorre impression. Basically the Steve Buscemi of that generation. You see "peter lorre impressions" a LOT in cartoons over the generations. Its like how Chuckles the Clown from Avantriss is an Ed Wynn impression.

Miner49er201 .

And one of them was drinking water the entire time and still couldn't parse that Alicia confused the car "taking" (driving) a Texan to a wedding, rather than taking (accompanying).

Grandmasta

or they are stalking you

Hollow

When they said they’re totally getting disassembled, all I could think of is Short Circuit. No Disassemble Johnny 5! Sure Kidnap the Humans, Destroy the Machine! Legit hope maybe she’ll check out the short circuit movies, those movies are super nostalgic for me. Definitely worth a watch, despite its questionable casting choices.

Hollow

If we’re going there, we can’t forget The Dark Crystal. Seriously gave me nightmares, even the protagonist has such a creepy uncanny valley going on and then there’s obviously the Skeksis.

Hollow

That’s definitely the most memorable part of this whole movie. Though what stuck with me the most for some reason was the scene with the computer and vacuum tubes from the second movie. But it’s been so long I’m still fuzzy on the details at this point.

Hollow

It’s shocking how much difference just a couple years makes when it comes to experiencing media. All of this and so much more was quintessential to my childhood, but my friends are a couple years younger and grew up with something else entirely. Hell one of my friends missed out on some of the greatest. He’s still never seen The Sandlot and whenever someone finds out, they all say “You’re killing me Smalls” and he still has no idea what it means or why.

AnotherWeeb

as it turns out, he was indeed sucked to death also, "suckatron 9000" is a different movie

AnotherWeeb

mild tangent, but stockholm syndrome isn't even about stockholm syndrome. It's not even a real thing. The term comes from some hostages in stockholm that were treated respectfully by the criminals and abused or straight up shot at by police. The police couldn't possibly imagine that they were actually worse caretakers than the criminals, so they invented a new mental disorder to explain why the hostages refused to be released to the police line, complained about the police handling of the situation, and refused to testify against the robbers. most of the disney princesses, beauty included, are pretty similar. The "bad guy" treats people reasonably, and the surrounding populace does not. So the princess ends up on the bad guy's side to some degree. This isn't a syndrome, it's just being a reasonable person capable of independent thought

Katz Kreationz

Ah Brave Little Toaster....the movie that made me terrified of AC units 😆 🤣

Adam

"ATRRREEEYYUUUU!"

Adam

"I'm Skeksi and I know it."

Gwen harris

I saw this when I was 5 and forgot the trauma at the end. This explains alot.

Andrew Parker

That was a good reaction. Personally my favorite songs are B Movie and Worthless.

Randomocity732

yep, the whole completed trilogy. it ended perfectly

Blackrain

I grew up on this movie. More kids need to watch more tragic scaring kids movies like this to help prepare them for life. I also believe their are one or two more Brave Little Toaster movies out there.

PWMARSH17

49:44 the mice use clothe, paper, plastic etc to build their nests. Wile contrast to when Blanket first meets them :'( Care about the products and tools you use.

HornHero

Still waiting for her to watch the others

BaseNikon

havae you watched - Homeward Bound?

MIce1987

You definitely need to watch Toy Story. You may as well watch all 5.
