If the kid is punching disabled kids, his parents aren't gonna do anything about it. They've likely been doing things that encourage the bully, not dissuade. I had a very similar situation in middle school. The parents refused to believe their kid was anything but an angel and even tried to get me in trouble for claiming their kid did anything wrong. The victim beating up the perpetrator is the only way the asshat will learn. It's not a lesson the parents care to teach.

As a person with pectus excavatum, though much milder, I have to say the fear of physical alterations is very real.

I remember my bully used to do that. I stood up and blocked him once. That's when the teachers actually bothered to take action. His friends, of course, said I was the one hitting him. The assistant principal tried to suspend me because "he shouldn't have fought back" her exact words. I hadn't informed my mom about the bully. My mom is a former Marine. She went off on the assistant principal in the "privacy" of her office. It started with the phrase "Listen here, you ugly ass civilian bitch" and was loud enough that people in the hall looked in. (I wasn't allowed in the office with them for that talk) They sent us to "mediation" instead, which went as well as you'd expect when one person is a lying asshole trying to fuck you up and the other didn't even want to deal with him anyway. A few weeks later he tried to follow me home and attacked me in the open, in public, screaming that I was a "fucking freak". Luckily three guys I was on good terms with happened to be in their front yard nearby and tackled him. They said I should leave and that they'll deal with him. They apparently told the a good chunk of the school gossips that I thrashed the guy without any difficulty. I know this because he confronted me in gym class later pissed because "Everyone's saying you kicked my ass!" and actually looked like he cared about them saying that. I told him I hadn't said a single thing about it. Then told him to eff off. Left me alone after that, so weird but effective.

For some reasoning, I'm now imagining people literally gambling on a fart. "Ladies and gentlemen, today I had ribs and kimchi with coffee for lunch! Will this just be a fart or will I shit myself? Even I don't know! Place your bets now!"
