Don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but Dick is from The Shinning (it's set 20 or so years after this), and Will is Mike's (from the movies) dad. And Shawshank Prison is the same as the movie too, nearly all of Stephen King's books are connected, and Andy Muschietti wanted those same connection for the It universe he's set up here.

Its been mentioned less directly, Like i just said they were a major character in 2 other Stephen King books, AND they were mentioned in the Book version of IT in flashback scenes

anyone else getting "Max challenge attempts exceeded. Please refresh the page to try again!" only on alicias page? ive tried switching accounts, switching browsers, switching computers, switching devices, clearing cache cookies history e.t.c I dont know what to do and ive only seen people report the issue on google nobody with a solution. I managed to watch episode 1 and 2 when they came out (and yes theyre not available now either, as well as any other content) If anyone has any clue how to fix please let me know

Didn't watch this when it came out cause I didn't see anyone who could play Pennywise as good as Bill and they brought him back, so hyped for the rest of the season

To be honest, all that thing with the box in dicks mind. that concept I don't remember seeing in the original shining movie. But I did see it a lot in the sequel movie: Doctor Sleep
