100% Agree about the Gen V stuff. They set up Marie as being the only other Supe to be made like Homelander but its like they are afraid of making her powerful since she isn't the main character of The Boys.

I understand the complaint about Gen V and Marie, but the showrunner said she wasn’t going to kick Homelander’s ass like “Neo at the end of the matrix”. That was never her purpose. At most she was always going to be a supportive role.

Marie ISNT meant to defeat homelander, she was manipulated by godolkin to make her think she could, that she maybe was strong enough but she's not. Why would they make a spin off show character be the key to the end of the main show? I think you're just dick riding marie a bit too much and thinking way to highly of her. Marie is just a slightly stronger version of victoria neuman and look how she turned out.

My guy, relax, remember these are fictional characters, plus Marie could take on Homelander, not to say she could beat him in a physical fight, but she could honestly have a higher chance to kill him than Victoria if she's able to bring people back from the dead. me personally i was not really a fan of Gen V and was more excited about the prequel, but you make it sound like any one that think marie could beat Homelander is out of the possibility when it's not.

I'm not saying theres no possibility but homelander would need to be seriously weaked - like how he was with the uranium. Alicia and others talks like Marie could just walk into the same room as homelander and explode him when homelader would kill her with laser eyes or ever super speed much quicker. Plus wouldn't make for such a great finale if a spin off show character did the finale kill. Feels pretty obvious its set up for butcher to kill homelander, not marie like alicia seems to think/hope

Stormfront killed herself, allegedly. Homelander never saw a body and neither did we. All we saw was a bunch of medics take out a bodybag, before Homelander crashes out.

Yeah no shit cuz the show itself talks about marie as if she CAN do that. Its not "Alicia and others" that talk like that. The show itself told us that??

Yes WHEN godolkin was manipulating her, he would've said anything, any lie, if it helped maries powers to fix his body. Doesn't mean its true or else starlight would've had marie kill homelander immediately and not go and do whatever she has marie doing now.

For a refresher, we last saw Stormfront having lost most of her limbs and with severe burns in a hospital bed. We find out with Homelander from a newscast that she killed herself by chewing off her tongue and drowning in her own blood, but technically what Soldier Boy says is true, we the audience never saw a body, just an empty hospital bed with blood stains, and we don’t know if Homelander saw a body either. I think the character they mention as having maybe broken in and possibly gotten any V1 that was there, Bombsight, is one of the original supes that they mentioned being from initial trials, someone who would have known Stormfront too, so hypothetically, if Soldier Boy is right that she never would have killed herself, maybe he broke in to get the V1 to help her recover after she had help faking her death and disappearing?

Think of it this way Alicia, Marie isn't necessary to kill Homelander because the series is most likely going to end with him losing his powers instead to show how much of a weak, insignificant, loser he is without them and force him to actually live like a human. A-Train's final words are the basis for the whole season IMO. Marie may show up to blow up some heads at some point, but in order for the series to feel satisfying Homelander has to fall to someone from the main series (and hopefully be nothing like the comics finale)

We can’t truly say that she isn’t as strong since she spends 90% of the season rejecting her full power. Her status gave her an innate resistance to Godolkin which only Homelander had. If they get her + 3 strong Supers, they should easily jump him. Her , a telepath and SB for example

I think Marie is going to be able to somehow separate the compound v from a supes blood because we know she can sense it. She isn't being ignored just saved for the last few episodes as a super weapon

Nah Starlights actress definitely got at least cheek and lip filler, she’s admitted to it before. I think its just really shitty of her to gaslight her fans and make them think its all because of the disease. Graves disease is bad im not trying to make light of that, but imo its really weird that shes lying
