Ngl when they talk about "The World will fall apart" if loki escapes and Loki saying "I am the one who will bring about the world's end", it just makes me think of Norse Mythology. Loki, leading the remaining Jötnar from Jotunheim to fight Odin and the other Gods during Ragnarok (maybe hinting towards the end of One Piece, Loki leading the Giant Pirates to fight Emu and the others during the final arc of one piece?) Also Elbaph having A GIANT TREE like the World Tree? Fucking awesome

considering the giant king having Loki happened while Dorry and Brogy were gone, that means he's at least under 100 years old, which is somewhere under a 3rd of the average lifespan of giants, so comparatively to human lifespan, he's like... somewhere in his early 20s, or maybe just below his 20s? mind you, this is just speculation from what we currently know within the anime, i don't know shit about the manga

We know from SBS questions that Hajrudin is 81, and Loki is younger then him, so yeah, he'd be in the Giant equivalent of his 20's, maybe early 30's at most.

Feel like The Red Line being a reference to Jörmungandr is kind of a stretch. It feels a lot more like an allegory to heaven (with the former people living there literally being flaming angles) and Emu (who is very clearly a demon or devil) "overthrowing heaven" similar to Lucier, only diff is that Emu actually succeeded whilst Lucifer failed.

Back during the Dressrosa arc, I wrote a comment about Hajrudin being a lot cooler than he first seemed, but didn't post it because that would be spoilers. I instead saved it into a file to post it for this episode. But it's been absolutely ages, I have a new PC, and I can't be bothered to dig the comment out of my old one. So instead I'll just say that Hajrudin DID end up being cooler than he originally seemed. 😅 The way Oda plants new threads into the story to pick them up potentially hundreds of chapters later is so cool!

As a side note, and given that "size" has been somewhat inconsistent in the anime, Loki is WAY bigger than a normal giant. In fact, he's even bigger than Oars.

i like how they depict Norse mythology, Loki being chained to a mountain is true to the lore, he is responsible for earthquakes. Spoiler maybe i don.t know ? the reason being according to the lore, he is forced to have snake venom drip in to his eyes, how ever his wife holds a cup to collect the poison, thing is at some point it will get full and she have to empty it. At this point Loki get poisoned again and writhes in pain and as a result causes an earthquake
