How deeply spread the misinformation on the ocean is astounds me. People genuinely believe that we have mapped out thousands of galaxies billions of light years away but haven't mapped out the oceans yet. We have in fact mapped out 100% of the oceans, but we only have about 26% mapped with modern high resolution technology. But yeah, we know basically the entire ocean floor in 720p.

About Alicia's comment about crashing a cruiser into an enemy via hyperspace, that wouldn't actually work. Despite what the shitty trilogy shows, hyperspace when following established Star Wars lore doesn't work like that. It doesn't make whatever is going that speed an object you can't defend against. Shields are still a thing, and would take the brunt of the damage for the enemy vessel. There are plenty of reason why the coined "Holdo Maneuver" shouldn't work in the world of Star Wars and that it breaks the established canon, like most of the sequel trilogy. But the main point I would make to support it not being possible is that if it were an instant kill move, then every missile and physical projectile used in space battles would be equipped with hyper drives to make them jump to hyperspace, which would make stuff like the Death Star later on be absolutely worthless in terms of being defendable

Star Rail really is a lot like Star Wars when you think about it, right down to the DNA, it's drawing inspiration from the things that inspired George Lucas, the entire pre-existing genre of Space Opera, science-fantasy pulp media, comics and books, serialized adventure stories like Flash Gorden in the 1930s, Buck Rogers in the 1920, even Jules Verne in the 1800s is part of the genre, and probably a lot more I don't know

Also in Star Wars they use Hyperspace routes, thats why a blockade can happen. You just need to set it up at the entrie/exit point of that route into the system

So, there is actually a Lore reason why the B1 Battle Droids are so goofy. During Phantom Menace, they were originally hive mind type controlled by a central control location (trade federation ship) and when kid Anikin just flew into it and blew it up, all the Battle Droids just stopped working. They had no autonomous function. cheap and mass produced. in response the seperatist gave them cheap, Autonomous, AIs so they could act independently, but at their pricepoint, their hardware is limited. it's a fun little justification for the change of both their behaviour and lack of central processing after episode 1.

There's plenty of reasons why it already existed long before the Sequels even happened, and were etailed in novels. Centerpoint Station literally used weaponized Hyperspace. The REAL reason it wouldn't be used is the fact Ryloth is directly behind the blockade. The reason Hyperspace Rams aren't done isn't because they're impossible, it's because you're literally putting FTL *shrapnel* down that entire path. And at that close to a planet, you'd likely cause an extinction event level impact.
