1:35 - You are correct! Beauregard Lionett (Marisha's character from the Mighty Nein) is a member of the Colbat Soul. This whole heist is original to the animated series, as Vox Machina never ran into the Colbat Soul in the campaign.

Keyleth saying "Sweet Summer Child" makes me wonder is Game of Thrones canon to Tal'Dorei?

Trevor Appel

4:28 I love the nod to the Sly Cooper franchise

Christina B

I honestly keep forgetting that "sweet summer child" is from game of thrones

Christina B

You're right on why they wouldn't have just gave the information to vox machina, but one of the main reasons was that information on the whispered one is kept safe because of his particular rituals and rites that he performed. (I think they spoke aboht this at the beginning) It's very dangerous information to have, and nearly impossible to convince them to release it to them even if they claim it's to stop the whispered one. Remember they're on a different continent right now. To them, the whispered one is still sleeping/dead/whatever the fuck he did before

Lynn

People have been saying that for well over a century bro

bloodyshadow1

just so you know, Yudala Fon, the badass monk that was kicking everyone's ass is nonbinary, they use they/them pronouns

Sweet summer child is a common phrase in Northern England (makes sense its in GOT since GOT is based on the war of the roses.)

Dross

No they haven't Fredrika Bremer coined the phrase "Summer-child" in the late 1840s but "Sweet summer child" meaning a very naive or overly innocent person was in the book A Game of Thrones and got more popular after the TV show released

Bking

It's not from GOT, I've been living in Alabama since the 90's and people have been saying that as far back as I can remember.
