In case you guys forgot (I did too) Delilah (the blindfolded lady) is the fuckin Necromancer from SEASON ONE! (her and her vampire husband killed Percy's family) At the end of the season she was killed by Percy's sister, but guessing they brought her back from the dead since she was already fucking with the whole orb thing before anyone else (which means this priest dude is somehow ABOVE HER and she was a whole ass necromancer)

Ryan Stewart

Wait...Delilah Briarwood? Fricken necromancers, man! Cockroaches are easier to get rid of!

Sam Marsh

I’m not sure you realised Alicia, but the ending revealed that the acolyte is none other than Delilah Briarwood, who along with her husband Sylas ruled over Whitestone and fought against Vox Machina all the way back in season one.

grim artifact

Oooohh, I was wondering why the name sounded so familiar 😆

Port34

Not just killed, but dissolved in a vat of acid afterwards if I recall.

DiabloAnos

Need to go watch something funny after this episode. This was a little heavy.

Deathwatch45776

I wonder if she is gonna realize just who that was at the end lol

ChaosSepher

Pretty sure a cockroach would stay gone after dropping it into a vat of acid.

YeCrustModifier

The song I went with at the end was, “why, why, why Delilah?” 🤣

NP

No shot they brought Delilah back 😭😭 I had enough of the Briarwoods after Season 1 😂

Sam based Tary on Iron Man. No joke. He is a science bro by nature. Also the joke was everyone was level 15 and Sam wanted a character who could "buy" his way to level 15

I dunno if it’s supposed to be a surprise; but in regular DnD “The Whispered One” is an alias for Vecna, the oldest Lich and patron god of necromancy, secrets, and forbidden knowledge. But it seems like his backstory was changed here so idk if they plan on doing something different from Vecna’s usual shtick.

Shank Mugen

Less surprise and more copyright The name "Vecna" belongs to Dungeons and Dragons, which in turn belongs to Wizards of the Coast, which in turn belongs to Hasbro And since Legend of Vox Machina is not an officially sanctioned D&D Show It is the same reason why Tary's father had a "Deck of Infinite Possibilities" instead of a "Deck of Many Things" Some other notable changes due to copyright that I remember, are as follows, including the aforementioned ones "Matron of Ravens" instead of "Raven Queen" "Knowing Mistress" instead of "Ioun" "Everlight" instead of "Sarenrae" "Whispered One" instead of "Vecna" "Scanlan's Hand" instead of "Bigby's Hand" "Deck of Infinite Possibilities" instead of "Deck of Many Things"

RememberNovember

Funny detail: The amount of time between the start of the episode and the moment the potion wore off was exactly 63 seconds, which is how much time Grog said he had to talk about what he knew in the last episode.

The Fool

Ugh them not recognizing Delilah physically pained me

The Lazy Gamer

It's fun having campaign knowledge and watching people freak out sometimes.

The Lazy Gamer

They couldn't even remember the names of the Mighty Nein so should we really be surprised?

The Fool

I thought at least Alicia might recognize Grey's voice

Isaac Kim

To be fair it’s been three years and she hasn’t really had any relevancy since the end of season 1 to even jog Alicia’s memory

Elias Cristerna

RIP Wilhand Trickfoot aka tiny Henry Winkler. At least this time you weren't covered in bees.

Broccoli Ben

I was waiting for the Delilah reveal, wasn’t sure if that was her
