I think it's implied this takes place after both Edgerunners I and Cyberpunk 2077 but they don't mention V because they don't want to step on any player's toes. As far as I can tell, it’s about two months after the end of the game? I read a comment on reddit about this topic saying that in the new mission in game, either King or Meshuga mentions the shard job at the start of the show or something, meaning it happens soon-ish after. Then there’s the time jump in episode one of 2 months because King was out cold and, well….yeah that’s about it

Important to note that since season 1 takes place in 2076, the game takes place in 2077, and season 2 is in 2078, David is not the only reason that Arasaka is weakened right now. Arasaka also has seemingly taken a big blow from whatever ending our character in the game has taken. So it is a combination of David's and OUR fault that they are like this now.

Also probably explains why they specifically were hitting a 'Saka facility. Their security's likely shot to shit compared to how it used to be because of you in 2077. They were basically fucking untouchable before. Then you happened.

Yup, it shows the half face of D and the half face of Capri, showing she basically quickly grabbed control. When he pushes King out of the way you can see it in his face too, he's just as surprised about whats going on as everyone else.

Btw, I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this, but “SCOP Dogs” are made of SCOP, which is worms farmed for their meat/protein. It’s what most people eat for cheap meat, usually they’re shaped and molded to resemble stuff like burgers and hot dogs.
