25:30 I hate that. He's not allowed to give up, yet it is wrong for him to try and solve his problems? Live comfortably with his uncle and try to leave the avatar out of his mind. That is wrong?

Also fun fact about Avatar Kyoshi: Kyoshi is canonically 7ft tall so in the scene with her and Chin the Conquer it isn't he is short Kyoshi is just massive.

Nym

@aliciaxlife Avatar contains no filler content. Filler refers to non-canon narrative material added to prolong an anime adaptation while the original manga or source material progresses. Since filler content exists outside of the canonical storyline, it is typically irrelevant to later plot developments. In contrast, Avatar tells an episodic story with an overarching narrative across all episodes; that's why episodes like this one are called back to later on in the show. Also, I do realise that your reaction series to this show is over, so it won't change anything in the reaction series. I just wanted to get it off my chest since it had been bugging me. Also,  sorry if I was condescending to you at all in this post.

Winter Turnip

High key Sokka did aangs make up cuz he knows how to screee, hehehehehe delighted that fullmetal is mentioned

Faroth

aang always beat bad guys in a more defensive fighting style is awesome, because the moment he take the fans here and in kyoshi's island, he suddenly feel the need to beat them as hard as he can, since those are Kyoshi's weapons and she was a little more... aggresive

Hellguin

Iroh's talks to Zuko, especially the "In your darkest times, hope is something you give yourself" got me through so many hard times.....

Minidiamant

Boomerang ALWAYS comes back.

Jacob Marley

21:10 She's his sister. Sisters are fair game for shoving

AlexXis Amadeus

I cannot wait for Zuko Alone. I CANNOT WAIT FOR ZUKO ALONE!

In case you were wondering why they switched to unfried dough, it's because Aang wasn't boiled in oil. In other words he wasn't deep fried lol. Also I'd be happy for you to watch FMAB next year. It's definitely a series I'd recommend to everyone. Anime fan or not.

Alice Faust

A lot of childrens' shows that are popular among older fanbases are only separated from adult oriented media through lack of explicit sex or gore, and usually keeping violence off-screen unless a protagonist is involved. The writing style is very well suited to fantasy and sci-fi stories, as is showcased in most of the modern examples.

Thank you for the food 🙏 the content was delicious

Kevin

Every episode with a wisdom from Iroh is great

Nakama Forever

I love Sokka for how relatable he is

T Heo

Kyoshi did enter the Avatar state; her eyes lit up for a second before she assumed control of her body again. I can't say more than that because I refuse to spoil this show for anyone. =)

Geno

the Iroh/Zuko moment in this ep is one of my favorites in the show :'D

Joey Cat

A silly episode but still enjoyed it, thanks for the uploads Alicia :)

Jon C

A fun episode but also has one of the most badass scenes because Kyoshi is a boss bitch.

BamBam

thanks for the upload ^.^

BamBam

I think sokka pushing of katara was less of shoving off women but shoving o his sister... I have 4 siblings... pushing each other around in youth is just normal XD

N00B

I hate that you didn't follow up the "is it like the wheel of fortune" with a "Wheel of disfortune" joke.

Bardukite

Ahhh Kyoshi, my favourite avatar :D if you like reading I highly recommend Rise of Kyoshi and its sequel Shadow of Kyoshi after you finish the show :3
