A little clarification on the whole forced kiss thing. He said, "If you don't get the hell out of here, I'll stick my tongue down your throat to shut you up." He was trying to get them to leave, so he threatened them. Joseph isn't gonna pull a Dio and force kiss someone. Erina raised him better than that.

I don't think Joseph would actually shove his tongue down someone's throat (non-consensually at least). He's just an asshole but he's an asshole with morals. Like, he talked shit about knowing that lady hostage but he still went to rescue her in the end because he does care. Yeah, Joseph and a lot of future Jojo's characters will pull these insane plots that don't reeeally work if you think about it? Like the mirror? But the show kinda gets away with it by being so cool and stylish that you hardly have time to think about it. Hamon is also starting to get kinda inconsistent where it can do whatever is needed for the plot but I guess that's fine. And her comes the Nazis! Gee, who would have expected the Third Reich to show up? Rudol von Stroheim is much like Dario Brando a reference not to music but to an actor, in this case Erich von Stroheim, Austrian-American actor and director who is considered a very visionary director of the silent film era, most famous for his 1924 film Greed. Jojo's Stroheim is also notable for inspiring the looks of Guile from Street Fighter, though Guile is a red blooded American rather than an actual, literal Nazi. The thing about Nazis trying to use supernatural forces isn't entirely fiction either. It might have been a little blown out of proportion thanks to pop fiction like Indiana Jones and Hellboy but the Nazis likely had some people working on possibly channeling the occult for the war effort. I also agree, that scene with Stroheim and the Mexican prisoners is fucking horrifying. You'd do well to remember that scene whenever Stroheim is on screen cause' fuck, man.
