oh god i just remembered promised neverland... Season 1 was genuinely great. EXCEPT FOR THAT CHARACTER holy shit i had completely forgotten!

TSP247

I love it. joestar I don't need powers take this Tommy gun instead. 🤪.

Evan

Yeah see stuff like this is why I don’t know if I wanna start watching Jojo, shit’s too confusing LMAO

David Portnov

Each part has a new protagonist. Different JoJo means a different part, though sometimes the carry over into the secondary cast. You can probably just title it Season 1, Episode 10 and be alright, but that's just my input as fan of the series.

The Netflix subtitles wasn't clear but Erina did say that she's pregnant. So she has a baby from Jonathan and also rescued another baby from the ship.

Oak

On Netflix, since Parts 1 and 2 are relatively short, I guess they decided to group them together, but that won't be a problem after this part. After this, each season is also its own part so hopefully it won't be too confusing lol.

SapphireRose

When Erina said "There's a new life in me," she meant it literally. She was pregnant, with Joseph's father

Shig

I think you can probably Title it Part Two Episode 1. It's how I remember Jojo at least.

Slimunkey

Joseph with the Tommy gun: "Parry this you filthy casual!"

Nina

Part Two, Episode 1 makes most sense IMO, even though they're technically packaged as one season on Netflix, part 1 and 2 are still their own thing.

BB

Mask make vampire Vampire makes vampire zombie And you can call it part 2 ep 1

GormleyPeach

Yall see now why some people find part one slow or generally not as good.. because JOSEPH shines!

Tachyon Fast

The way Erina acted while pregnant was time period appropriate tbf. Same with the polices treatment of Smokey, unfortunately.

LampyLust

Could be a stretch but the cafe that Joeseph and Smokey are in is called Irene's Cafe in the 30's there was a Blues singer by the name of Lead Belly his most known song is "Goodnight Irene" very sad song but a good one

Juinichi Hibiki

As I recall, Smokey Brown's name is an homage to Smokey Robinson and James Brown.

Bob

Welcome to part 2: Battle Tendency! Welcome to the Lie, Cheat, Steal era of Jojo's, starring Joseph Joestar! I think Araki felt it was a bold move to kill Jonathan so he made Joseph look very similar but then also made his character almost the opposite. Jonathan and Joseph share that their hearts are in the right place but Joseph is not a noble gentleman by any description, he is however the fucking best. First appearance of the Speedwagon Foundation! Our boy continues to love and support his best bro Jonathan 50 years after his death! Truly the best waifu! Smokey Brown is probably a reference combo of Smokey Robinsson and James Brown. Erina was pregnant on the boat, I don't think one sip of wine in the first trimester is gonna do irreperable damage to your baby but what do I know. Oh man, I'm remembering all the cool shit in part 2 and getting really excited!

Ivan

Erina drank sip of red wine thats why her son didnt get superpowers. Thankfully they didnt do that mistake again with her grandson Joseph

HopefullyHousebroken

I nearly cried in laughter when he pulled out the tommy gun. I can’t wait to see more.

Barnabás Mucsi

And this craziness is nothing. And don't think that JoJo doesn't have emotional parts. Especially at the end of the last animated part Stone Ocean, you're going to cry like you never in your previous reactions what I saw (that excludes Cyberpunk wich I didn't finished yet and Vox machina). Maybe this comment will age like Milk but I stand up for my statement.

Zandorum

A reference that was cut that was in the manga but NOT the anime for copyright reasons was on the plane Jojo WAS reading Superman but it got changed to Baoh which is another manga made by Araki (Araki made Jojo).

Some references you might've missed from Part 1 btw: * The "Ogre Battle" was a reference to Queen's song of the same name. * Poco's name is literally a reference to the band Poco. * Wang Chan's name is a refrence to Wang Chung. * Tarkus is named after the album Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. * Bruford is named after Bill Bruford the drummer of Yes (and roundabout is by Yes). * Doobie WAS a Doobie Brothers reference. * Page, Jones, Plant and Bornam (the minor characters Dio says "Jonathan is mine to kill" to) are refrences to Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and Jon Bonham. * Father Styx was a reference to the Band Styx and the fact that Phantom Blood ends with a ship is also a reference to Styx's song "Come Sail Away" hence Father Styx being on the ship. * Zeppeli's first name being "Will" is a reference to William Makepeace Thackeray who is also quoted upon his death. * Zeppeli's allegory about vikings is a reference to Led Zeppelin's song "Immigrant song". * The university where Jonathan and Dio studied is named Hugh Hudson Academy. This is likely named after Hugh Hudson known by the movie he directed Chariots of Fire. * The Wine Dio is drinking when he's on the street reads on it "Cronenberg" being a reference to the director Cronenberg as well as Dead Zone which was directed by Cronenberg but an adaption of a Stephen King movie. * George Joestar and Dario Brando parallel that of various interactions in Victor Hugo's novel Les Misérables. George mistakes Dario, who was trying to loot him, as his savior, just as Marius' father mistakes Thenadiers as his savior. George also claims that he gave Dario the ring that Dario himself stole, similar to how the bishop Myriel claims that he had given Jean Valjean the silverware. * The year that Dio becomes a vampire in lore is the SAME year Bram Stoker's Dracula takes place which ALSO just so happens to have a young adult protagonist named Jonathan who attempts to defeat Dracula. * The Town of Wind Knights Lot is a reference to Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot which was a novel where the inhabitants of a small town progressively disappear after having been turned into vampires.

Nakama Forever

I'm sure one day you'll get your dilf 😂

Isaac Steinway

If you guys did not hear Erina was pregnant, she said so at the end of the last episode while floating in the coffin holding the baby.
