The rock, due to all of its mass, would travel far below the water's surface, avoiding the issue of "fall damage", the rapid decceleration of a body by having the rock's speed be reduced very little, whilst still slowing down enough for Joseph to just start swinning in the surrounding water.

Honestly, I would say that the English dub for Jjba is surprisingly really good (especially part 4 with Billy Kametz) and maybe could even watch one of the parts in en dub if you want. Although in sub is where a lot of the memes come from.

Part 2 has one of the best finales EVER, no doubt about that XD. Next, comes Part 3, where the entire franchise... NAY, THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WAS CHANGED!!! Part 3 brought a BIG change to the entire Manga industry thanks to the new Power System it introduces, the Stands. Though at the same time, it may be one of the Parts taht aged wrost, since it took the "Villain of the Week" formula, so it has as many peopel that love it as many people that dislike it XD.

I actually highly recommend watching the scene of Kars getting launched into space in the English dub as well; it actually plays with the "Your next line is" gag in a way I find hilarious that the original doesn't. Plus Joseph's dub voice is hilarious but fitting.

Every Jojo gets a little more deviant with each generation it seems. Jonathan was a pure of heart gentleman, Joseph was a prankster and less of a gentleman, and the first shot of the new Jojo is him being in jail.
