I saw a comment asking for the unedited version for patreon :D so here it is. I usually only do episodes so it didn't really occur to me to post it here. :3 tah daaaahjust incase the link breaks: https://streamable.com/ar2t8a

man... if live action gets you into the show cool. It just isn't for me, kind of like EN voice actors. I hope that the people that are into this like it though.

rando

God damn it I just finished watching it on YouTube lol

Wolfange

YEAH thank you so much ! I was the one asking hope it don't bother you 💜

SHOCK JOHNNY

Will you be uploading your Invincible S2 teaser reaction on YouTube? Would love to see it

edgard

Any chance you can do the same for your one piece opening reaction?

Cyrill Attakpah

my only question: how did alicia resist stopping at the frame where mihawk gets a closeup? and how could she have missed the 31. august thing in the teaser trailer? guess thats 2 questions

Nick Wick

There's a video of the cast reacting to the first trailer. It's so precious to see <3 You should watch it

Pantreon

I know off topic but did you know that a new invincible episode dropped tonight about Atom eve origin it’s 50 minutes long

My biggest thing whenever they do Live Action adaptations is to remind folk that it really isn't for the fans, y'know? They're not trying to sell fans of the show on a new adaptation, this is for everyone else. For the people who go "Oh One Piece too long" or "Oh I don't do anime" or like my own mother who's like "Oh I don't do anything animated". This is more for them, to bring more people along on the greatest adventure the world has ever known. That being said I am in *love* with the casting and I am so beyond pleasantly surprised with how fun this looks. I can't wait to watch it with all my friends :)

My biggest gripe about the live action, has just been the wigs they decided on. Nami, Shanks, Sanji.... they couldn't afford better looking wigs? Or is that the style that they are going for, that they cut their own hair and it looks bad because of that? lol

Rick Baron

Yay i hope we get more unedited versions of other miscellaneous videos from the YouTube channels, like the attack on titan opening reaction with Rich you mentioned some time ago

Gucci Pucci

This adaption gon be ass frfr 💀

Something I love about this one. They got as close as they could to the nationalities that Oda himself said would be the real life equivalent of each. So they really are giving this one a hard go, doing the damnedest they can to make sure it's accurate. Or as accurate as they can get it. I can clarify if anyone is curious, since I do have them pulled up (though I don't know if Alicia would like me to post any links here. Links are cringe, after all.)

There is SO much love put into this trailer that you can see if you look through it bit by bit. From bit-part characters (the guy Nami kicks in the nards in ep 1 of the anime can be seen) to future threads (some of the bounty posters on the board at the end of the trailer) to the clothes choices (a lot of them from various colour walks) to the small details. Oda greenlit every change and dropped a post saying there were no compromises made - that he stands behind the show 100% and that he loves all the crew and people who went into making the show and will go to bat for them against the haters. He notes that changes were made - had to be made - but that they made sense and he got to add/change things as he would have wanted if he went back and wrote the story again. So it's not going to be a 1:1 with the manga, or the anime (which also isn't 1:1 with the manga) but it does have Oda's blessing and that's really all I need to get hyped about it. It looks great and I hope that Alicia will react to it when it comes out because I'd love to see her get excited about our newest beans and how precious they are.

Yo-Yo

wait are you reacting to this entire thing along with one piece???

Yagi di Hoshi

I really hope this does well enough to which we get to see at least the first two or three sagas adapted. That would make me so happy

Jordan Williams

I’d personally love to see a short series of the one piece ramen commercial more than a live action
