I feel the whole 'showmom' thing. My own mother was insanely strict with me when i was younger, forcing me to take part of so many different activities from sports to choirs to music school. If i was stubborn with practice, she would slap the shit out of me and force me to do it. I did get myself out of music school into art, even though i was fairly good and succsessful at music - i just absoloutly despised it by the end of it. I geniuenly did not have almost any free time til i was 17 - that's why i feel like i went really hard on the party-life style for 3 years straight to the point my brain is just mush now. She does feel INCREDIBLY bad about it and how she behaved and i've forgiven her. I don't resent her for it, i don't think i do but damn do i wish i had more free time as a kid.

So now that you have seen the whole first season and you've also seen the first season of Invincible, I highly recommend watching "Omni-Man VS Homelander (Invincible VS The Boys) | DEATH BATTLE!" on Youtube. Not sure if you've ever watched any of Death Battle's videos, but is an amazing piece of animation, the acting is spot on for both characters, and the research and analysis is actually really good and interesting. No risk of real spoilers either if that is a concern.

You know, your change is disposition about gore and violence, I had a similar thought while watching your reactions to the other episodes, that you've changed since you started. You're a little like Hughie, still have a heart, but not where near as squeamish as you used to be. When it comes to the Boys, it gets better from here.

I'm glad that you talked about your past with being pushed so hard as a kid. I had a similar situation growing up and it doesn't get talked about to the point that you brought up. It mostly just is talked about like in the show and not past the breaking point that often happens. It really helps hearing that someone else went through the same stuff. Thank you.

i was honestly touched when you talked about your suicide tentative at 11, because i honestly taugh that i would never heard of someone who like me was in that state that young, hearing you talk about that made me think about myself and i cried a bit about my memories of my life to today, i am 18 and since i was 8 years old that tought of killing myself never let me alone, i did tried nobody saw it like it and nobody realised what i was trying, honestly i still think about doing it, but now that i started college, i finally have something that i want in life, so maybe i will stick a little longer, your video really help me in my lower time, and i really want to thank you, i was thinking of sending you dm but i saw a post saying that you dont want to receive them so i didnt, so i say it here in my bad english, thank for your content and thank you for being you (i dont know if someone will read this, there is even less chance that its alicia lol, i mean that video is from more than a years ago, so i dont know why i open here even if i dont open to anyone irl lol)
