Let's Gooo!!! #Contenber Month (Content + Dezember) Aliciaxlife: Bingeing One Piece, FMAB, MHA and Frieren + reacting to Helluva Boss on YouTube! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

Gai Valentine

If you’re looking for an anime that’s not totally focused on action and instead focuses in on characters in very deep and emotional ways, and also has this time passing theme, definitely try Mushoku Tensei. I’d also love to hear your thoughts on Rudeus(the main character).

Linus

I LOVE the trope of rough-looking people just being unexcectedly kind. Like the time in Avatar where Aang ends up in jail and the thugs there where just the cutest and got him to talk about his feelings and stuff.

Chamoun101

Btw, German 101 in this Ep. Qual = Torment

Wildstar

I'm loving your reactions to this series :D

cyberspacecat

Super happy to see you react to more Frieren, the show really goes from strength to strength, and it's refreshing to see a more contemplative and emotional anime among all the battle shows.

Austin

Holy crap I never noticed that hat at the end, great catch

DragonPup

Frieren is my show of the season, maybe even year. Are you planning to catch more eventually? Zoltrack and Qual are interesting because I think to things that were death sentences for people 80 years ago and now just aren't. 80 years is indeed a long time for humans.

Charlie baker

first 4 episodes are a set and were released together

jdoggivjc

It's really fun coming back to this episode and seeing how many of the future episodes built on a number of details in this particular episode. The mangaka is a talented and detail-oriented writer.

Ebofa

I do almost feel sorry for Qual (but only almost). The guy is clearly a genius. Not only inventing a spell capable of piercing every defense of his time, but also able to instantly figure out the weakness of the modern counter to it. Had he been given some time to get back on his feet I don´t doubt he would have been an incredibly dangerous threat. But it is kinda hard to get back on your feet, when you are instantly ganked by someone taking advantage of the fact that entire fields of studies have developed around studying and countering you and your personal superweapon. Spending several decades reverse-engineering and improving it. Like, the guy didn´t even get 5 minutes to wake up properly, before they jumped him.

Cyrill Attakpah

its impressive how obsessed the japanese are with the german language ... Qual xDDD agony, anguish, pain, torture .. depends on the context .. what crazy names they have in this anime xD

Cyrill Attakpah

alicia asks where shed be isekai-ed ... id say: KonoSuba

Memento Forever

I just remembered something... did she drop beastars season 2? or was it finished. I don't remember it ending or maybe I missed her reactions

Easy Mode - A.I

surprised she ain't avoiding this opening with all the "spoilers" it has

Maxima

you should watch Youjou Senki aka Tanya the Evil

Rat#394

Two thugs gave Konosuba vibes.

Kap

Not sure the old man/little kid died at the end. He mentioned how those kinds of hats were common, so it might be someone else's hat.

Princess Paladin

They literally just left the village. They aren't going to pass a grave for the person they were just talking to that's AHEAD OF THEM on the road from the village XD

Shank Mugen

One of my favourite things to do in Elden Ring is defeating enemies with their own spells

FranklyHam

the thing with Zoltraak is so interesting. it just comes to show just how quickly technological advancements are made to the point something astounding and powerful a few decades ago could become everyday and ordinary further down the line. a gun you could buy from any shop that has them on sale would be a technological breakthrough a century ago.

Zack Filipy

I feel like you would like the world of Shanghai la frontier,

Speed1247

Imagine being so major an influence that your work was literally turned into a normal part of that system. Qual was a dick but he did have good magic, to bad he Never considered a defensive spell for it.

Silent Storm

I honestly thought the plot twist would be that Qual would be able to adapt a more potent offensive spell. I mean he was immediately able to reproduce the defensive spell after only seeing it once, even though it likely took decades of the best mages collaborating together to specifically counter Zoltraak. I didn't need an epic rematch or anything but I think it was too bad he got One Punch Man'd. Could have become Dimple 2.0 ;)

Anzac-A1

Zoltraak becoming commonplace to the point of no longer having a name makes complete sense. Humans have short lives, so they tend to adapt very fast out of necessity.

Skywhale

Himmel was a responsible hero after his big Deeds - even as he was getting on in years he was still making an annual trip to check the seal for their safety, just because he cared.
